That thing happened on 00:30 is still unbelievable...

Someone who has watched 1999 world cup will agree that this was the best world cup. Some of the reasons -
1. The cricket outfits were evolving and were right on top in 1999 wc. Amazing jerseys!
2. The wc as scheduled in June- July. As an indian, summer holidays and cricket starting at 03:00 PM, what else you can ask for.
3. This world cup was a true contest between bat and ball. Batting used to be an art during those days. You need skills to bat in seaming conditions and against top class bowlers.
4. The world saw Shoaib Akhtar in full flow in 1999 wc. The FASTER bowler and in full flow in England swinging conditions.
5. Epic semifinal between Australis and SA that brought tears to almost everyone eyes.
6. Lance Klusenser showed the world what is the meaning of All Rounder.
7. Almost every team was strong. Even Zimbabwe beated India and South africa.

Instead of watching live matches today, i prefer was this cricket gold. Thanks for uploading videos!

90s kids .. these were & will be our favourite cricket days forever ❤

2 giants of 1999 World Cup…….
What a WC that was……
No one can forget Lance Klusener, there was no clue for klusener in this WC……what a great all rounder; no one can reach Lance Klusener….what a great player he was….

Mark Boucher batting at number 8, what a one of dream squad, full of pacers , allrounders and stylish batsmen❤❤

My first favorite player was Lance Klusener. One of the greatest all-rounder of all time.

1st time Akhtar was demolished
Zulu's world cup forever will be remembered as❤

This worldcup was all about klusner , they declared klusner Man of the series even before semi finals . He punished world class bowlers in close encounters  on the way to his victory . I still remember He also took 17 wickets in 9 matches..Most was 20 by warne and Allot .

इस वाले वर्ल्ड कप जैसी जर्सी आज तक किसी वर्ल्ड कप में नहीं आई पुरानी याद ताज़ा हो गयी

Such a talented team South Africa was Pollock, Kallis, Klusner as all rounders was a dream for any team

This was not even semi final ..Klusner won four man of the match in 6 matches.

1999 wc was belongs to Lance klusner

3 teams which were frighteningly close to winning this world cup, SouthAfrica, Pakistan and Australia. All three beat each other across in the world cup. Pak had the best bowling line up. South Africa had Klusener. But Aus had that Gibbs's iconic dropped catch of Steve Waugh. That dropped catch by an exceptional fielder, Gibbs set the stage to make Australia an invincible team for the next decade

S Africa should've won this world cup. After this world cup australian team became invincible. Only S Africa had the ability to defeat australia bcoz they had world class fast bowlers.

Sabhi teams ki jersey world class thi is world cup me

Azhar Mahmood what a talented bowler he was swinging the ball in 37th over😮

I used to bowl like kallis and klusener in my childhood. ❤

Actually one of the best World Cup...Batter has earn there each Run..Bowler on top..Outstanding Teams Jersey..Unbelievable Weather n  Atmosphere England's ground ..
