Come along as I give our basic half bathroom a complete DIY makeover and turn it into a space that feels so much more charming, collected, and full of character.
For this makeover, I added a subtle patterned wallpaper to the upper walls, gave the existing countertop a surprisingly realistic faux marble finish, and layered in a mix of vintage finds and new pieces to create that collected-over-time look I love. Warm wood tones, deeper accents, classic details, and a few unexpected touches helped take this little bathroom from builder basic to cozy, elevated cottage style.
Even a small space can have personality! I hope this gives you some ideas for adding character to a basic bathroom without doing a full renovation!
