Robbery .. Carl Froch got schooled lol

Lol bums always want to "stand and fight like a man" which means let me hit you cuss I'm too slow

I think people forget how good Dirrell was.

I'm British, and I think Dirrell won by a wide margin. There were moments in this fight when Dirrell showed true greatness, even if it was largely an ugly affair. Froch looked pedestrian throughout. Great chin, great stamina, but did he wear down Dirrell and start landing cleanly and consistently? Nope. I feel like Ward could have fought Froch in Nottingham and would have lost.

Also you are supposed to score for defense. Carl Froch does not have any defense.

Shame Ward vs Dirrell didn't happen, wouldn't have been the best fight to watch but they were the 2 best fighters in the tournament

Even Froch wasn't expecting to win that one.

In what planet was this a Win for Froch?

this stupid commentator  said it was a close fight in round  five when Dirrell is clearly  dominating Froch .

Dirrell is soooooooo technical. I love his style! Been watching boxe for 20 years at least and such speed is pretty rare.

55:10 "you got to get him outta there... coz you ain't getting no decision here"
That statement sums up the whole fight.

Nice job by Froch. I keep waiting for the referees to get better. Yes, I'm the guy in the with a blue face holding my breath. :-)
The excessive holding by Dirrell should have cost him more points. I don't know if any of you caught it, I'm sure some did, but there was an intentional head-butt by Dirrell. Glad Froch got it.

I never saw the punch stats for this fight.  Maybe I'm missing something???  Dirrell beat him worse than Ward did.

Home town call.

Did anyone notice the guy in the brown jacket at 59:45? He came over to Froch and was very quietly telling Froch something. His demeanor tells me that he was telling Froch not to worry, that he won on the score cards. How the hell would that guy know, if that's what he was saying? This was only a few minutes after the fight, and several minutes before the robbery was announced.

Dirrell landed the cleaner harder shots in most of the rounds, had better defence clearly, had the better ring generalship and IQ, was more effective with his aggression. Froch got completely schooled. Straight up robbery.

Dirrells trainer didn't say he needed a knockout he said he isn't winning a decision over here which is true. Here in the UK we've had some terrible decisions.

Al Bernstein as a commentator and analyst lost all credibility with me calling this fight. The 12th rd was ALL Dirrell and Bernstein is talking about "this 12th rd is very close". Are you fucking kidding me? Dirrell outclassed Froch in the 12th and damn near the whole fight. In one instance Bernstein is like "at some point Dirrell will have to stand and fight". Then Dirrell stands and fights in the 10th or 11th rd and Bernstein is like "stylistically and strategically this is bad for Dirrell". Which one is it Al? How the hell was this a close fight in Bernsteins mind? What fight was he watching?

Dirrell totally beat Froch, hands down. I only gave Froch maybe 3 rds. This was probably the worst robbery Ive ever seen. I cant even make a argument as a devils advocate for Froch. Dirrell BEAT Froch.

I am English and after watching this live and three times since it baffles me how Frock got the decision. Dirrell schooled Froch. Would have loved to have seen Dirrell and Ward in the Super6, such a shame.

Anybody who looks at this fight and says froch won have to be either deluded or a rabid froch fan. You cannot win a fight when you are being made to miss with almost every punch you throw. Froch was shown up to be exactly what he is a raw and crude brawler with a great chin and great determination. Even allowing for the holding dirrell landed all the quality shots in this fight and imo was really robbed in this fight.

Andre direll was way ahead of his time
