much needed video, thank you! when i play tank(mainly billy), i sometimes get into this mindset of doing everything myself (mostly the killings) and being a sort of "carry". switching from that to more of a playmaker role can be tricky...

time to apply this before my enemies learn…

4:53 He's just standing there. Menacingly

I had a vague idea of this from my CS experience (the presence of a lunatic with a mag 7 in dust 2 tunnels can do wonders for making space), but you've helped massively in translating this to high ttk games like deadlock

Hi, new here. Why is Billy not yelling and teaching like a good person??

I will be sending this to my funny little buddies, thank you. Very well made

Great video. I used to play a lot of tanks in dota2 and sometimes do in deadlock, and these are very important concepts to understand for everyone, not just tanks, to know how to play around the enemy frontline and how to capitalize on the opportunities created by yours.

i dont play deadlock. but the nerdy goat in the thumbnail was irresistible.

My friend group and myself included play literally every character in the game except the frontliners so this video might actually help us balance our team comp lmao

learning abrams so this video is super useful, thank you and keep posting!

Thank you big billy bro

Very good video, one noticeable difference that Ive noticed is that, since this game is a combo between a hero shooter and a moba is that the map is a lot more open than your linear attack/defense based hero shooter maps like in overwatch and rivals, and that space is not the complete and total control that you can achieve in those games. Even your vision cone, what youre directly looking act, can affect space as it determines who knows what you know and how able you will be able to defend on multiple fronts

amazing thumbnail choice

this is so peak and i LOVE your funny goat. really useful info since i keep going out too far and dying when i'm already behind since it feels much harder to stop some teams from snowballing. I suppose you gotta clear waves less quickly at times to force the enemy to be starved by just... letting your minions die while they're out of range of the enemy team?

underrated channel

that was really good!

peak video!

im rn playing "support" vines ivy so its cool to see what front line looks like in depht. i never rly played any frontliners, except for a couple of times so its cool to see

The Final Frontier

Probably my biggest weaknesses are underestimating when I’m strong enough to fight, and a frequent lack of intimidation, probably because my most played characters are talon and viscous, I have a strong instinct to keep a certain distance and constantly have an escape route ever since the viscous goo ball resistances nerf I haven’t ever felt quite as strong in my preferred playstyle on that character, I used to feel valuable as an annoying giant ass booger that griefs enemy ults and soaks up enemy cooldowns while using witch mail and transcendent to get like 3-5 sec cubes, nowadays I feel like I get nuked so easily and I’m more useful just as a tool for pushing enemies out of position with the fists
