This is freaky as hell. Also, using Google Translate, the Latin phrase "Tu qui oblitus es, Nunc liber est" means "You who were forgotten are now free."

34:48 i love when a player is smart enough to understand this. countless people go strait for key items without even considering this.

44:36 was the building on the right an alternate ending?

the game didn't seem to have anything to do with the ending. weird decision.

Yow fooster! Thanks for playing my game! Appreciate it so much!

I live in southeast Alabama and venture into the woods quite often.  The most disturbing situation is being out in nature and realizing there's no ambient sound at all.   I was camping with some friends and we were deep into some incredibly thick underbrush when one of us mentioned the lack of sound.  Then a bone chilling, guttural scream for a few seconds, followed by a terrible stench.  Never saw anything but not for lack of trying.   I've never been more in fear for my own well being than that night.

Why would a real estate agent decide to just light a fire and take a nap in the woods when they go to meet with a client? Makes no sense

33:04 loool, your reaction to the dummy peeping on the stairs was like when Will Smith’s character found his mannequin homie in the street in I Am Legend😭

There are actual studies on how they use nature therapy for children and adolescents with depression. It's the effect of connecting with something larger than you.

33:18 lol W “I Am Legend” reference Fooster

We had a place in Norway called Lier Mental Hospital, located deep in the forest—so deep that at night you couldn’t even see the massive 5–6 story buildings until you were just a couple of meters away. Almost all the old equipment was left behind, and we used to go there and sneak in at night because there were rumors it was haunted.

Wow! Did not expect to get my heart ripped out. Have to say if anyone is struggling with grief please reach out to someone, don’t suffer in silence.

I mentioned this in the last video.. The forest is so well done! Nothing obvious is duplicated, there's no patterns due to lazy design. There's the odd sparkle from a waxy leafed plant, even the wind blowing ferns and trees are done in waves, like a proper breeze. I have never seen a more realistic representation of a forest on my screen. So well done.
Edit: I live in the country, my backyard is a national park. I can tell you 100% the air is fresher out here. When I visit my dad in a major city (600 000 people) and try to go for a run for exercise, immediately I am struggling for oxygen. It's like running just after smoking a cigarette. The pollution just reduces the quality of the air by a lot.

when my day feels gloomy, fooster comes and saves the day.

Nothing says "I'm going to die" more than going into a magical psychiatric hospital in the middle of the woods and reading random words you don't know lol

11:11 perfect timing for the bird call to cover Fooster’s “f*ck” was hilarious 😂 I know you didn’t actually say it but still was funny.

The demo for this game was one of your first videos I watched and I was HOOKED. One thing I learned from storytelling is that the main character doesn’t know what genre they’re in. While we know it’s a horror game, the character doesn’t know how deep in the shit they really are. ((What are you doing out here, Fred?! -I am legend?))

If I was stuck in this situation, I think the first thing I wouldn't do would be sleeping in a stranger's tent lol

Two years late, but I am going through pretty much the same thing that this guy is going through... so this hits hard. Depression is no joke, it's the monster that creeps up on you, and can destroy you. Just remember, that you control that monster.

whats weird is the first time u played this it was a 1 or 2 story white farm house with wrap around porch and now its a psychiatric hosptial

Fun fact; that 'old school drill' on the bed at 36:30 is still used today on military aircraft.  It's called a 'speed handle' and it's used because you can get a lot more force behind it (dominant hand goes on the middle, other hand goes on the end and you can press that directly into your shoulder so you can use your body weight) to keep from stripping out the screw head.  We rarely used a power drill on screws - only on bolts.

Rough day with depression so seeing a new vid by you has cheered me up, thank you
