The idea of an apologist using a fallacy counter is chef’s-kiss level irony.

In his book "Don't Sleep, There are Snakes", Daniel Everett tells about his time as a missionary to a small Amazon river tribe . They were remote and had little to do with any other groups or tribes. He discovered that this whole mid-sized group of people lived their whole lives with no conception of a god. By the end of his 2 years living and ministering to them, Everett found it impossible to get them to understand what a god even is. Eventually, he himself lost his faith because he saw that the "written on your heart" idea was clearly false, and that people could work as a tribe perfectly well without faith.

"This is a non sequitur!"

"Sheen, this is the 7th time in a row you've wrongly called something a non sequitur"

I’ve been on the fence for a good while. This channel (alongside Sir Sic) really helped me stop feeling so guilty for questioning so much and realizing that thoughts I had like “if there’s evil in the world, why wouldn’t god stop it?” and “if he knows everything, how can there be free will?”, even down to questioning the story of the flood or of Adam and Eve and trying to make them make sense. I’m not to the point where I’m going to argue with any of my religious family, because they actually do try and make the world a better place rather than just insisting that they’re good just because they believe, but I at least feel better knowing I’m not bad for questioning things.

as I've been exposed to more apologists, I now see why William Lane Craig is considered the best and the brightest that apologetics has to offer.  The bar is truly on the floor.

I get the feeling that his strategy from the outset was to find the fallacy in order to dismiss the objection. So, we can add Fallacy Fallacy to the list of fallacies he committed in this video.

His first point is very silly. He believes a tri omni god wants to have a personal relationship with every single human but humans need to "approach" the god only after learning of the god from another human who learned of it from another human.

Simple fact. As religion has lost it's grip on power, the population, scientific discovery, and technology has exploded beyond the ability of a god to exist.

Why do they always try to rush it? Giving themselves 3 minutes? They should take their time, because they should take at least 3 minutes just trying to get their foot out of their mouth before trying to speak on this.

Tim wouldn't know a false dilemma fallacy if it come up to him and bit him in the backside... or didn't.

Tim doesn't understand what "non sequitur" means, so he assumes anything else he doesn't understand must be a non sequitur.  😂

God isn't sending his best people to defend himself.  Why doesn't this god just DIY?!

It's never a good sign when a person's eyes are trying to escape their face

Why does this guy have that way forced, creepy smile plastered on his face the entire time. It’s like so many apologists have no idea how to be genuine.

Dude didnt get the memo that dismissing every argument made by your opponent offhand as a fallacy is in itself a fallacy

If a human eating a fruit can corrupt all of creation, then its creator is very, very bad at creating.

If god is spirit and lives outside of space and time, why was he afraid of people building a tower to meet him, thus confusing their language while also claiming not to be a god of confusion?

The guy cries non sequitur like an orange baby cries fake news.

"We're born with knowledge of God in our heart"
Translation: I feel God is real, don't know why, and can't offer evidence so i presuppose God to make myself feel better.
