Anyone back here after Directive 8020??!

Insert the "I've only known Salim for an hour and a half but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in the room and then myself" meme

Things I love about Gab “aww he knows I spared him”
30 seconds later
“Blood sacrifice for the blood god let’s GOOO”

The Merwin QTEs are really fitting for a person and situation like that one; a recently traumatized soldier, focused only on keeping the guy quiet, danger at his back, QTEs somewhat hit it as a 'doesn't realize' feeling for the player, much like the character.

When Gab thought the Kings were siblings my first thought was "Its Forth of July weekend..."

Let’s see if Sharpay survives this fabulous adventure!

When Gab gets pissed at Merwin and wishes he'd shut up, only to end up smothering him.... It's okay Gab... we know it was an accident. 😉

Nothing is more endearing than Gab saying "Sorry!!" for returning fire lol.

When I saw "Rachel King" my head was like
SIBLINGS OR DATING?

"Doesn't anyone speak English anymore?"
Someone tell this man that he's in THEIR country lmao

When Joey and Merwin get out of the helicopter, Merwin looks back at the Helo.  In an earlier bit of dialogue, a couple of characters are talking about military superstitions, and someone says that looking back at the helicopter is bad luck.  That's why Joey is like "Aw man, why?" and kisses his cross.
Please tell Sean, he was confused by that moment too <3

You guessed it, Clarice has the same face model as Taylor from Little Hope. They reuse the face models quite liberally and I like it, makes everything feel like a connected universe. Plus it saves them budget not having to make a bunch of new models every game.

53:38 Merwin made Joey look back at the helo that's why he said the "why did you do that" since it's the believe that it curses the whole team

That ranger roll to fireman carry was amazing! I've seen people roll to pick somebody up, but I've never seen it shown in media before. That ranger roll is seriously effective, that was fantastic.

Gimme all the demons!! Salim is already best character.

52:01 Joey: "They say to never look back when you're disembarking the helo. Otherwise you curse the whole team."
Clarise: "That's gotta be the stupidest thing I have ever heard."
Joey: "Yea, well maybe. But, as I see it . . . Why take the chance?"
Merwin: "Eyes forward at all times. You look backwards in a warzone, it's no wonder you get your ass shot off."

53:28 Merwin: "Hey, Joey!" Points backward.
Joey: After looking back at the helo, "Why the f--- did you have to go and do that?" Raises his cross and says a prayer.
Gab: "What? What'd he do?"

1:01:55 Joey: After being shot in the leg (ass?), "F---! I'm hit!"

There's an article in a newspaper that talks about a serial killer that was executed for killing a bunch of women. In the last game there was an article about a killer being on the loose that was murdering women. Definitely seem to be Easter eggs for the next game, so I'm expecting to see a premonition related to that later in the game!

Game: soldier raises the gun, winding up for an exaggerated buttstock hit
Gab: direct the attack
Dude: gets whacked with a buttstock
Gab: He was a bit rougher than I hoped. I was hoping to give him a little "pshh"

I love that everyone Ive seen play this is immediately like "salim cinnamon roll i must save you at all costs' lmao XD

I like how the soldier's mission is to find WMDs that we all know now never existed just to clear the US of it's illegal invasion.
