The final leg of our Georgian trip to the Caucasus, Kazbegi National Park, is organized by Budget Georgia.
Our first stop is the Zhinvali Reservoir, followed shortly by Ananuri Castle. We have an hour to explore the medieval castle with its churches and battle towers. From the castle, there's a stunning view of the Zhinvali Reservoir. After a tour of the complex, we head north.
Our next stop is the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument, stopping at the Gudauri viewpoint.
Finally, we'll visit the Holy Trinity Church in Gergeti, from where we should have a view of Mount Kazbek and the Caucasus.
