Building a Heavy Stone Shelter for Winter Survival |Carpathian Bushcraft Bunker

Lost in Mountains: Carpathians

Could a hand-built stone bunker survive a freezing night on the surface? Today, I’m building a massive above-ground shelter with a unique log arch roof and a heavy stone oven. This project explores advanced bushcraft engineering in the Carpathian Mountains, focusing on extreme winter survival and primitive construction without being buried underground.

Imagine the river rushing through it when it rains.. built right in a natural draw... How cozy

I can already imagine how cozy it will be inside with a fire roaring while the snow falls outside. You’ve created a perfect escape from the modern world.

Great work. Next time I'm lost in the woods with 500 lbs.of jute twine, I'll think about building my own cabin and then I'll just walk out instead😂. Seriously, thanks for your work.

Building a stone shelter like this from scratch is seriously impressive. I love how practical and rugged the whole construction feels—those thick stone walls look like they could handle some brutal winter weather. The finished shelter really feels like it belongs in the mountains.

The calmness you show in freezing conditions is amazing. Your ability to adapt and build a comfortable shelter in deep snow deserves enormous respect. Great job as always! 🔥🏕

I've seen dozens of wilderness shelter construction videos. But this is the first time I see someone bake an orange

Bro, this time you really outdid yourself. I honestly think this is one of the best cabins on YouTube. Special respect for the window - you made it incredibly well!!!

Such an incredible heavy stone shelter build, I really love the rugged style and how warm everything feels inside, huge respect for all the hard physical stonework you put into this bunker 💪

Preparing and getting the fire place set up, is the best part cause after comes mans reward, eating, drinking and be merry under the snow.😊❤

He digs a trench into a small hillside, creating a dugout space. He then constructs a wooden frame, lashing the pieces together with twine.

The Gordon Ramsey of Bushcrafters! Great temporary hobby shelter. Watching from Ontario, Canada where we have had over 2 meters of snow since December. The only thing that would make this better would be a big fluffy German Shepherd for companionship!

Watching this made me respect how discipline can turn extreme winter into something survivable.

I stumbled across you yesterday.. I did bushcraft myself for years also in YouTube, I miss it and your videos and your energy really help me feel the wild again, thank you so much. Hugs
