Falling over on the bike is never fun, especially when it weighs an easy 200 kilo's! In this moment, I was glad to be in a place where lots of other motorcyclists often ride. I don’t even want to imagine having to lift it on my own... 😬

Unsolicited advice from my 2.5 million miles of professional driving. Speed and following distance can compensate for our inattentiveness and also road and weather conditions. The acquired ability to “read” other drivers will allow you to compensate for their shortcomings. Thank you for another wonderful video.

swiss rider here, in these thight corners in the mountains, youll always find drivers of all vehicles that are very much overwhelmed. especially when people like this woman have to follow others(her husband) that put extra pressure on her, it can happen that they take corners wrong bec of stress and then they just freeze up. as a last ditch effort not to fall. if you sit right in the back of sombody you have to anticipate that. happend to me in exactly such a corner on my way up. i was not patient and the guy in front stopped out of nowhere bec he thought the incomming car wouldnt fit beside him. so i almost dropped my 1290 super adventure out of my own impatience... always look out for yourself and ride safe!

Dear Nancy, this experience is part of our hobby, and, if I may say this, better it's happening early the first time, the better it is. I'm glad you are ok and also the bike.
You'll drive further on with a better view for all things around and in front of you. In other words: this sharpens your senses. And I have to say this - it will not be the last time. I made a few fallovers with my bikes, thank God all without any injuries.

A fall like this can happen to anyone, no one is immune, and it's happened to me, too. But cyclists have never overtaken me.😉

Which is why I went to three wheels. Dumping a motorcycle is a big fear of mine and something I do not have to worry about anymore. Great video.

My own tipping was even less honourable - I managed it from a stand still with no one around to influence me... Someone once told me it is just a matter of when, not if, you tip your bike. Great that it all went well - and the best thing is that you can keep riding with nothing hurt or damaged. Thank you for sharing the bad bits as well. Best of luck going on!
