The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bimbles through East Yorkshire for Coffee and Cake!

That bloke on a motorbike

A glorious day, wall to wall blue sky and perfect temperature, only means one thing, it’s time for a ride.

With nothing but a vague idea of the area I wanted to ride, The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bimbles through East Yorkshire for Coffee and Cake!

What gems of back lanes can we find today?

Ride safe,
Dave

I thought it was rather nice of the farmer to offer some refreshment on such a beautiful day.

You have the nicest roads. I find riding with you to be very Zen. Thanks, Mr. Bloke.

What a lovely ride Dave think I’ve been on some of those lanes. Wonderful part of the world.👍

Another lovely ride. Thank you👍

A great ride. The pastries at Fimber take some beating. It’s becoming commonplace for cars to be on the wrong side on tight corners these days. I’m now really wary on approaching tight blind bends, it’s just ridiculous.

Battle of Marston Moor: July 2, 1644. Lovely day for a ride; makes a very nice change for England, from what I gather! 😉 Truth be told, we could do with a few of those here in West Oz at the moment.

Hi that bloke on a moter bike, it's great just to bimbel about and not just a desternation and as you said just for the ride which is GREAT

Great ride as usual and it’s getting a bit crowded here on the back…..🙀🤣🤣🤣

The number of people using the white line like they're driving a Scalextric car 😖
I do like Fimber. Very peaceful.

A meandering ride with no particular destination, just my type of ride. It’s a lovely area, I’ll have to explore it more. Glad to hear you have taken my advice about retirement, although you did slip up with the duck eggs 🤣🤣

Thanks for posting these videos. Being from U.S., I really enjoy seeing the English countryside and the little historical facts you sometimes add. What kind of camera are you using? The stabilization is awesome.

Whilst up near Fimber, have you discovered the delightful road that winds through the hills after you pass through Thixendale?

I'm lucky to live in Beverley - the Yorkshire Wolds are Yorkshire's best kept secret.....keep it to yourself lol.

What was the basic route you took from Tadcaster avoiding York to the A1079?
