When I do these I put a little bit of jam on the ends and use the duck bill clips and sit under dryer for a little bit

Literally about to go do my man’s hair and this video was super helpful!

Started with a 3-strand braid, then went to 2 strand twist....FOR THE END...go back to a 3 strand braid.

@Tiffany-un3hw 2 years ago

Glad to see you started with a braid 1st. This what I plan to do on my son’s hair.

I use gel when I approach the ends and twirl tips with my finger to give it a curly effect. Gel dries and seals the ends so no rubberband is need. ❤

This is so satisfying to watch

Nice job,
You have to use the braiding gel on the ends dip your fingers in the gel before finishing the twist end then wrap the ends around your fingers one last time to seal the ends.

use Orthodontic bands in black with a crochet-hook or bead-threader They are super tiny7 STRONG. I used them on my babies 25 years ago. Beautiful work~ God bless.

Thank u for this video. My son is starting to grow his hair out for this type of hair style and I definitely was thinking of braiding at the root mainly because of the texture of his hair. Again thanks definitely saving this video
