teaching barre is a job where everyone is looking at you, do what you need to do to feel comfortable! ❤

YOU ARE THE CAR I can’t 😭

I hate to use the term girl math but….$300 dollars you weren’t expecting going toward your new career seems like the smart move to make!

i’d use the $300 from barre to get barre clothes. it’s an investment into your work wardrobe 🤷🏼‍♀️ besides it’s a bonus, its unexpected income than can pay for a corresponding unexpected expense.

“When I walk in mules the hair on my arms stands up” this is so real😭😭😭

I support you saving up to get the rain jacket! I think it looks really cool and the way it’s designed it will last ages!

get the barre clothes!! im not even an instructor, just a serious solidcore girlie that is in the studio at least 3 times a week, and investing in nice looking high performance clothing gives me so much confidence and makes my workouts better! basically investing in my health 😉

Speaking as a career fitness coach, I have a lot of workout gear to teach in because it gets stinky quick, and having a few go-to outfit combos is really nice. But coming from pilates/ personal trainer/ circus world, having to memorize a script is absolutely bananas to me. I can’t imagine not being able to give my own framing and cues!

As a fellow Barre Instructor, congrats! I feel like new clothes, especially ones you feel very comfortable in is important. I also buy all my workout clothes in the same green, blue, black color scheme so they all match each other!

I found that Rains raincoat at Nordstrom rack in person for like $60. Worth keeping an eye out!

Good tip: buy water proofing spray. it’s safe for almost every fiber. I spray all my wool coats and Uggs at the beginning of every winter.

the way i was nodding when you said euro because it is, indeed, an invariant noun 👌

Thank you for talking about an expired product! Sometimes project pan folks give me the ick because I know they should not be putting some of those ancient ancient products on their skin.

You have inspired me to do a low-buy this year as well! I’ve been doing one clothing purchase per month so far, and it’s definitely a challenge! It’s making me way more intentional with my spending across clothing, beauty, and skincare.

My next challenge is eating out 🤣🤣

As a neon white girlie I am tragically obsessed with the haus labs foundation. Haven’t tried the concealer but truly finding a foundation with your correct undertone feels nearly impossible.
