I’m a pensioner, had mine since February, travelled 10k miles up and down the country to highlands of scotland,London. Little to no problems with infrastructure of chargers, if a charger doesn’t work there’s usually another close by, and only 50kw charger needed for this car! Love its ability in town to ‘burn off’ beamers at lights, superfast 0-40! £1.50 to charge up overnight on driveway for an extra 100 miles. It would be foolish to go back to ICE!

At last, a decent review and an honest one! I have seen so many Car Wow style videos  talking about scratchy plastic (whatever that is) baked bean boot and doors, poor handling etc etc. I only need my car to do errands average speed is 28 mph, sometimes don’t use it for a week! Currently driving a Renault E tech Clio, fabulous car but for a pensioner the monthly PCP payments are steep, this Dacia Spring is a much more sensible car for me. Thanks for the review.

I’m now on my second week with Spring. Loving it so far. A key, manual handbrake and dials for heating, things that have been sorely missed with other cars!
Sharp learning curve yesterday taking it out of its comfort zone. Motorway speed, 3 up with a/c, took a fair old bit of power over 40mins. Still cheaper than my petrol car though.
Great videos and good to see what to expect over the coming weeks.

Charging from a granny cable. 10 Amps is the safe maximum from a 13 Amp plug. Great video for any one considering this car.

Watched your reviews before buying. An excellent purchase THANK YOU!. Tech, driving, comfort, styling perfect. Yes, only one as expected downside. Not a great confidence in cornering at speed. I've driven a Vauxhall Corsa or Renault Scenic at 120-140 mph and rallied country roads dropping gears. This isn't a car for that. But delighted nonetheless. Thank you Bankrupt Pensioner 🙂

I love this car and thanks to your videos, got the reassurance I needed. It is all you say and more, predominantly a runaround but my only car and I live on Royal Deeside, Scotland.  Ev chargers around and at my work but having home charger fitted to save even more! Thanks for hones reviews - a great wee car! I have no time for car snobbery!

I love your comment about planning!
I have carpal tunnel syndrome and my own body has a limited range of maximum one and a half  before I need to stop and "recharge" Even if they gifted me the top range car I would still plan all my journeys around one hour/ one hour and a half break. I suppose this is why I never suffered of low fuel anxiety.
Also loved your review of the heating. I actually hate hot cars and the fact it takes long to heat up it's great.
But I'm really concerned about the tyre thing. This is the second video I came across that mentioned it

I'm so happy that this car deal is working out & that your happy with it Sir Richard. I would have kept those tires on too if I were in your position. It's a nice looking vehicle (imo). Have a super-duper day!  Cheers!  Illinois,  USA

2 yrs now. still love mine

Great video review of the Dacia spring. I loved this 🥰

Thanks for the review
very in informative  everything  i needed to know  😁👍

Thank you. Great review. I hope we will get the car for sale in Norway too. We need more small EVs.

I love your videos, man. You’ve got that calm, Bob Ross energy behind the wheel — please keep them coming!

Just ordered mine through company lease scheme, £230/month insurance and maintaining and tyres included

You can get a 175 65 15 tyre from £45 to £150. (ATS Euromaster), Roughly half the price you quote. At the cheapest £180 for four to £600 for four. As the Dacia Spring is limited to 80 mph you don't need 120+ speed rate tyres.

Thank you for this video. I have bought a Dacia Spring 65 in Portugal. I loaded it with extras and got a color. I charge it at a local supermarket that has solar panels, and I try to have it so it takes about half an hour to charge. The cost is just pennies, I go and have breakfast. while it's on a slow charge. I have had it since Easter, done under  2000 km. The offers and pricing are a lot different here, and not as cheap. I do love it, it's a dream to drive, on the motorway and on the back roads. I have had to change the back tires due to having a nail in the wall. It happens. Yes, I am also a pensioner.

Thoroughly enjoying these videos Richard, especially as I'm local to you so recognise the roads😊

That was entertaining, funny AND informative! 😁

Nice helpful videos. I have Spring Extreme of over one month. use it in SE England country roads and it is perfect. Have clocked 1000 miles and are using 5.5 m/kwh (incl charge losses  of around 7% at home charge point 7kwh charge). When I collected car the dacia dealer couldn't deliver because warning lights were on. The spring needed a new electric motor! to be fair on dacia they provided new spring as courtesy car but it took around a month. now all is fine. Only niggle is that automatic lights don't work and driving with headlights on most of the time.
