(and developer too, I guess)
In 2006, Roblox was a fledgling platform where players could build their own game and share their creation and connect with a small community. To promote it, Shedletsky released a trailer nearly six minutes long primarily showing what Roblox had to offer in terms of its games at the time. Many of these games were made by ordinary users; some of them are still active in the Roblox community today and some left years ago; the presence of their games are similar with some being iconic and others being forgotten. In this video I cover these games and their developers.
ANYHOW if you'd like to know where I sourced any information or footage you can ask me in the comments and I will (probably) deliver. A lot of it was searching through the Wayback Machine and the forums archive, though
Gameplay footage of trailer games is from FWM on Roblox

EDIT: so flexiblebanjo (the F in FWM) was in this comment section, pretty helpful guy. Anyway he's brought a few things to my attention I'd like to add
https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxRoTGaYFG5fTYgoSxQTLPhaKSJMq_RZaq
- There's a duplicate (terminated) Lawrence Yamut account (id 7014 compared to the still-active id 3549) whose place is identical (well, no tools but map is the same) to the one in the trailer.

- "DoomSpire and Towers" is (proooooooobably) "midevil times" (beautiful name) by Richu, opening the game (link) in Roblox studio shows that it isn't exactly the same as in the trailer, but you can definitely see the resemblance with the baseplate + towers. Flex has made available a version of the place without any of the colorful changes made to the game after the trailer's filming, which you can find (among other things I'm probably going to come back to in the future) in a post he made on his own channel (linked above).

Regretting not writing this earlier (a couple days ago) when he first commented on the video while it was getting more views, but it seems his comments get deleted randomly by YouTube so this'll have to do.
(Wasn't able to save or remember his @ before that first one was deleted :/ )
