Thank you so much for your AI stance <3 I've started only buying from people I know do not use AI. I got your first colouring book. It is sooo adorable. This one is definitely going on my Christmas wishlist

I’m making a welcome card for my great nephews birth atm with tempera sticks and posca so much fun !

Thanks for continuing to create 💗

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the lovely book.
And I agree; it's about the journey, not the destination.

As a fellow artist (currently i sell stickers of my own critters at an artisan fair where i also sell other kind of material pieces) who is also against AI, KEEP MAKING BOOKS!!
I watch your videos a ton lately, and i love how honest and open you are about everything art related, and you are so right, the process always mattered!! The normies using AI could never understand it because they never had the courage to try!!
I just wish someday they will get it, my brother(to whom i do not speak to any longer) once started to throw, "nObOdY iS tRuLlY cReAtIvE", and i cut him off entirely by saying, calm, "it was never about creativity."
"Wha-"
"The discussion is not about that. It was never about originality."
And he shut off in silence, SO FAST, i was amazed. He's the "i talk over your words BC I'M RIGHT" kinda dude, so i guess he never used his own brain to guess why for himself... as usual.
So that's why he said such a misstaken "hot take": He didn't trully understood it, and he is not an artist, so it makes sense.
I just wish someday they non-artists would actually try art and GET IT😭

I love watching you colour 💜

Your coloring book is so much better than anything AI could ever create. I'm not into coloring anymore but if I were I'd buy it.

Maybe it's easy to generate coloring book, however it's hard to make GOOD coloring book. When I discovered coloring books, it took me just one day of searching to realise field is full of slop and how hard it's to find work made by real people, with illustrations that make sense to be colored in. And on top of that with theme / artwork I like.

I totally love putting own spin and humour in those pages! I have your first book in wishlist, and now this one too. Only thing stopping me from buying them immediately is the fact that I want to tackle books I already have. Even though I exclusively buy e-books so that I can print them on any paper I wish, I still try to not hoard them 😆 I'm newbie in the hobby, let's see how that plan works out 😆

I'm so happy that there are still artists who are making such cute books like yours, and especially when they make it available in digital form. Thank you for sharing your inspiration with us, so that those of us who just love to play with color (and not draw) can enjoy artistic expressions too ❤

Well done and congratulations on your new book!❤

Ich habs, ich habs gefunden und gleich bestellt . Ich freue mich meega drauf!❤❤❤❤😂🎉

I agree with everything you said 100 percent. I personally avoid AI-generated anything like the plague. I can't tell you how much I loathe it; to me those things are soulless abominations. As a colorist I am so thankful that there are talented artists like you who still take the time and effort to create human-drawn coloring books, and I know there are so many others who feel that way too. I just got your new book yesterday and love it. Your page turned out just gorgeous! ❤

Yay you made a video about the new coloring book!
It is so cute 🧡 🖤 💜

Oh Melanie, that's soooo cuuuute! ❤

I refuse to buy anything generated with AI. AI doesn't create, it copies from the illegal training on artists work and yeah, that's it. No creation, no work, no process, nothing.
Now the fun part: I love Halloween and spooky coloring books ❤ it's perfect as a Christmas present for me, because I told myself I will only buy new coloring books once I finish at least one. I don't want to wait, but I have so many 😭

They'll never understand why so many of us make things and then never bother to put them online. We all know it's a dead internet anyway.

I really appreciate it! 🥰
I got into colouring WAY late and it was SO hard to find books not made by AI! 😤
Adding your book to my wishlist!
It would be good to see it sold other places than Amazon! They are a gross company and I don't love the paper.

Your book looks so cute! I think I will go ahead and put it in my wishlist for when I buy in amazon...

Thank you! I was a dear fan of Jeannie B ASMR and unsubscribed as a result of her pushing her AI slop colouring book. The craziest part is that she was in the comments insisting she only used AI to help “with scaling the images” despite one page literally having half of a ladder ending INSIDE of a bookshelf. It’s so disappointing.

OOOOOOH MEIN GOTT. Das ist ja meeeeeega süss. Wo kann ich das buch kaufen?❤❤❤😮😮😮😮 Ich brauch ein Link bitte!?😅

Somehow I didn't know (or forgot) you created coloring books until your previous video but already bought both of them. I like the mix of super simple and complex illustrations, it gives it more variations and options for different art media. Tho I'm just a colorists and dont create coloring books, I somehow always feel upset when I come across those "make money in 5 minutes with AI coloring books" videos. I appreciate your work a lot.
