Thanks for sharing Pete.  I hear what you say about a 25quid entry fee to a model show.  In Australia they are all (at least in Queensland - under $20AUD - your 25 Quid would equal around $55AUD!). Take care mate and keep having fun.

Hi Pete. That was a nice 'walk around' video. Lots of inspiration. I've got three kits on the go & don't have any inclination to do anything with them. Watching your video has whetted my appetite to "get off my backside & do something", so to speak. The Stirling you mention at around 10:20 is actually a Lancaster. The Hunters at 11:30 were called the Black Arrows I believe, founded by Squadron Leader Roger L. Topp in 1956. Speaking of which, were they & the others on that table 1/144 scale? They did look small.

Hi Pete, glad you enjoyed the show and I'm very happy you enjoyed my Fireball XL-5 :) Regarding your comments on Telford, if you thought our show was good and bug, then you'd be blown away by Telford, there are three halls each of which is about 50% larger that the gymnasium we used for the Farnborough show and there are so many trader and clubs exhibiting it would blow your mind! The £25 entrance fee is a tiny fraction of what you'll spend in the hall with all the traders! I've been to many of the shows over the years and even after being there for 2 days I know I haven't seen everything! I really recommend it, you won't regret it! In the meantime, we'll be back next year, later in September at the same place, see you then?
