My guests on the podcast this week are Brian Eschbach and Alan Cassidy of The Black Dahlia Murder. After the tragic death of vocalist Trevor Strnad, Brian took over on the mic and Alan remained very good at the drums. We talk about the giant leap from guitarist to vocalist, as well as Alan’s office chair, the devil's lettuce and the early days of the band and more…

I'm now old, have kids and been married, jaded and boring, but never grew out of extreme metal. When I heard about Trevor's death it hit extra hard and brought all those memories back in a way just hearing the music didn't.
Idk what the point of this comment is really but just thought I'd put it out there. BDM isn't a band I listen to often, and my tastes are way more extreme now, but they have had a disproportionate impact on my life so, thanks. 🤘
Thank You RiffLord Eschbach!
From the bottom of my heart 20+yr metalhead and you guys have been the cream of the crop for a long time in my eyes, the biggest inspiration for my riffs
