17:55 Yes, they did.🤔 The game is called "ryū ga gotoku 8 gaiden Pirates in Hawaii".

3:08 I agree, “Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii” is an awkward title.

It should have been called “Yakuza: Like a Pirate.”

I do know HOW to play mahjong but remembering all the hands is beyond my abilities.

1:45 "I don't wanna have to read the fucking phonebook to play some goddamn Chinese solitaire".
Max0r.

As a Yakuza fan, I can confirm I cannot play Mahjong

13:06 I ABSOLUTELY use a guide for pocket circuit

7:20 Bruh, I lost my shit on that sentence xD

The Fairly Oddparents scene is real

The funny thing though is that it was specifically Haruka and Kiryu from Dead Souls, if look closely at the images you can see the logo for Ryu Ga Gotoku OF THE END which is what the name of Dead Souls was in Japan

what makes it even better is that Yakuza might be coming to Fortnite, meaning Doom Guy meeting Majima might soon be considered canon.

So regarding Pirate Yakuza's title and management considering the Gaiden subtitle. They did end up calling it Like a Dragon Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii for the Japanese release.

7:25 the speed at which I unsubscribed 💀😭 /jk

I thought Like a dragon:Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii being called that was the point of the tittle. It’s ridiculously long, and funny therefore it sets the tone for the story!

14:48 The suit thing has actually meaning though. At first he is basic yakuza black and after he gets kicked out, he chose a white suit because of his preference. At the end he chose a grey suit, because he liked it yeah, but it's symbolic in context for his maturing, because nothing is just black and white like his suits were. I'm sure someone wrote this probably in the reddit thread, I did not look.

I literally learned mahjong to get the bonuses from Yakuza 7 lmao

There is probably a rather significant overlap between Akechi fans and Majima fans. I am one of them.

I found this channel thanks to looking up Akechi stuff, for once YouTube was good at it's job.

1:32 Imagine my disappointment when my girlfriend tells me there are fake plates in yakuza 4 that I can buy, I know how to play mahjong but I don't know how to read

I’m a demon at koi koi but mahjong is impossible

I played the JP versions so I'm honestly not used to the english titles. When pirate majima got announced, I was like "Oh, it's called RGG 8 Gaiden Pirates in Hawaii, makes sense" but then I heard the english title.

Her mistaking Doom as Portal got me REELING

5:30 Heheeheheheheheh ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHA!
