Dude, I'm 58 white and married to a Filipina who was a Philippine citizen when I met her in Manila.    We have a 6 year old mixed race son who is autistic. We plan on living in the Philippines in under 2 years. We already have property in Cavite. By today's standards in the U.S. we are woke but we are just a typical middle class family. That label doesn't bother me at all because I believe everyone has the right to be happy and find love. Like you one of the biggest reasons we are moving is the economy. I'm the PI we can afford therapy and private school for our son.  I love what you have achieved and I am very happy for you and your family. Live the dream brother.

The new rich. Debt free, peaceful and simple! That hits hard man! Most of us are trapped in a rat race, trying to impress the people we don't know, with some money we owe!

Hello sir! I'm a recent subscriber. Born & raised in the Philippines but left when I was 18 to the USA. My family & I are moving back to the Philippines next year after 13 yrs. Financially retiring. 😊 We plan to live in Luzon around Zambales or Bataan. Your home is an inspiration. Love it. Looks sophiscated but at the same time very simple. Cannot wait to be back to my home country where there's no depression & only living a simple & slow life ❤🇵🇭

Simple living with beautiful house..Congrats sir. Philippines is a great place to live..

Hello!👋 A Filipino here living in Toronto! You have a simple but practical house! Yes, your US$ can really multiply in the Philippines. Expats retiring in the Philippines are just longing for a life that is simple, peaceful, serene, calm and laid-back. It is also true that contentment is happiness. Enjoy your retirement in the Philippines!

Wow!I like what you said, Peace, Debt free, and simple life.Thank you for choosing our Country.Enjoy and stay simple.

Congratulations! !! I was born in the Philippines and now a US citizen. My family moved to the US in the 80’s. My parents are just finishing up their home in Palawan. I totally agree with all you said about the American lifestyle vs the Philippines.  I’m glad that you’ve found love and happiness there!  If you leave that Western mentality behind and embrace the simpler way of life you will truly love living there. I’ve been seriously thinking about moving back after retirement as well. I’ve enjoyed your videos and your candid take on your new life in the Philippines.! God bless you and your family!

welcome to the philippines man!
enjoy your retirement here! ❤❤❤

A very nice property and you didn’t break the bank to make it happen. You’re proof that you can retire in the Philippines at a younger age and live in a nice place that is affordable. If you have reasonable expectations you absolutely can make this happen.

Thumbs up thanks for sharing looking forward to go back to my home country in the very near future.

Nice home .. congrats..yes debt free and simple living is best ❤❤❤🇦🇺🇵🇭

My wife and I have been married for 15 yrs now. We live in Florida and have no debt either. I’m getting older (75) so taking care of our property here is getting more difficult. We have 2 acres with this house and in Florida things are not always easy to grow! We are in central Florida so we get 2 or 3 freezes every year also. So many of the tropical plants are not happening.
We might be moving to the Philippines soon. I prefer Thailand but the family is in Laguna. The good news is we can have a maid and gardener.

you are a very wise man i can tell and you have a good energy and i think your new environment suit u so much i hope you find ur peace and happiness here and more blessings to come my brother!

I agree to you bro! I wish i could move there soon! Its so stressful here in usa now!

Looks fantastic - I bet you and your family are really pleased with how it turned out! Thanks for uploading.

you have a beautiful and very functional house. i like your definition of the new rich - debt free, simple and peaceful living. it is kind of you to provide dwelling for  your in laws and for being open to visits from other relatives  of your wife. Cementing  the entire outdoor area does make cleaning much easier but the concrete absorbs heat during the dry season. i think  patches of grass would make your place even more beautiful and considerably cooler.

Thats life in the Philippines! Simple but happy all the time together with Family!

Price not   bad  your property cozy  i like the   plan   no debt  no pressure stress free    healthy lifestyle🎉🎉🎉

Simple yet cozy house, congrats on your simple and peaceful living
