I love that whenever Garrett says something as “fact” she’ll correct and say “Allegedly” 🤭😂

Garrett: "He wears people's faces" Payton leads with: "let's face it" 🤣

after listening to you for 4 years i have to agree this is the most troubling episode to hear

“Rain, snow or sleet we trick or treat”  is what my family says haha. Honestly wear your costume over your coat if possible, if not just have it under😂😭😭

Payton’s did do a very good job on that episode. U kept it so respectful for a case that has been so sensationalized.

While watching it on Netflix. The moment I started to sympathize with Ed. I had to remind myself “they change it to make you SYMPATHIZE with him. It was WAY worse irl”

Please hand out your bagels Garrett for Halloween!!! 😂

I hate that Netflix didn't do the facts right. I didn't know who Ed was until I started watching the show, so I'm going to need Netflix to actually tell these stories right if they are going to do stories on these serial killers

42:01 the audible gasps I let out while you were listing out the things they found 😮😮😮

I have to say this is one of the best podcast about him. You do a great job with this one. I enjoy watching mwmh. 😊

34:00 conversation about serial killer movies or adaptations, this is SO TRUE. Whenever we watched movies that are based on a true story, ppl would always empathize to the killers because they now "understand" why they kill ppl because victims were sometimes portrayed to be horrible ppl in the entirety of the killer's life. And some are not true. Like we ARE also not perfect. Everyone is not perfect. We sometimes do things that are not good but that does not mean you deserve to die in the  hands of a serial killer. This is the only time i heard someone point this out. Love you guys!

I couldn’t wait to watch Garrett’s reactions through the details of this one

They were showing it from his side like from his mental illness it wasn’t based on reality but how his broken brain worked

17:04 I don’t know why the way you said it has me dying 😭 the bottle

Thank you for covering this properly guys! As a true crime consumer, I actually didn’t know much about Ed Gein or his victims. I couldn’t watch the Netflix series after episode 2. I could tell from the start that it wasn’t accurate and looked into the case myself. I just don’t agree with portraying real victims story’s in such a stretch of the truth. It also just an incredibly hard watch. I appreciate you guys covering this truthfully and explaining the Netflix show and where it was incorrect. ❤❤❤

1:01 help...he's so random what

I watched this one purely for Garrett's reaction. It didnt disappoint.

Her struggling with the fact she’s having to say “pants made out of legs” lol

First time I heard about Ed Gein was on the dvd of Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003).  It was on the special features. I was 14 and I watched that. It waa mind blowing to hear what he did. He's obviously inspired Psycho original Texas Chainsaw Massacre original and Silence Of The Lambs.

New Yorker here, born and raised. when I was a kid ,no matter how bad azz of a costume you had, mom made you wear your winter coat over it.
