At the beginning of the video all that idiot had to do was slow down a little and let the trailer make his turn instead of insisting on his right of way.

Why didn’t you back up and give them some room to make the u-turn? Everybody wants to be a jackass, proving that they can be a wannabe tough guy.

I can not believe that most of these people couldn't see what was about to happen and slow down or break to avoid the crash.

Watching videos like this makes you realise that most people can't be trusted to go outside without supervision!.😂😂....

Can't believe that 1st driver, couldn't he read the road & see what was happening ahead ? It was oblivious the bloke with trailer was doing a U turn. What a knob. 👎🇬🇧

Why didn't the first cammer just slow down a bit.

@merlin5476 2 years ago

That 1st clip... you could see quite clearly that he was turning right & still carried on accelerating!!! Mr dash cam could have easily avoided that prang.

@HubertofLiege 2 years ago

How do these people that get hit by the trailer not see it coming? I feel they’re at least half responsible.

First cammer is in Townsville - not surprised really...

@darealone4480 1 year ago

First one was just stupid could have been avoided lol

Total lack of awareness by car drivers. Can’t read the situation and spit out dummy because they feel a dash cam will make them invincible

Its like people dont see the plate on trucks saying do not overtake turning vehicle

Training in trailer towing and a license endorsement should be a nationwide requirement.

Who honks their horn?
Girls?
There is a steering wheel in your hands that you can use to avoid trouble but you want to make a noise that you think means someone else is to blame?

@DavidLiljenberg 2 years ago

the stupid ,blind driver at ca 5.40 had time ( ages) to slow down a little and let the pickup pass by-instead he held his speed up and used his horn. So stupid.

Imbalanced trailer load ✅
Over speeding ✅
Not knowing where they are going and pulling last min manoeuvres ✅
You check all the boxes as a qualified trucker

I was driving a 4500 Van down a primary route and this senior citizen with a cervical collar protected by God rear ended me three times; twice on the roadway and once in the berm. When all was settled, I asked the officer why no action was taken, and he responded by asking if I had incurred any vehicular damage. I said, “Well, no, but…”. He floored it and I observed said officer five minutes later attending to a citizen that had expended his Get Out Of Jail Free coupon and temporal license versus The Telephone Pole.

I support that officer’s actions and am glad I didn’t have to tend to the thousand fragments in the adjacent field.

Every one of these accidents could have been prevented

Safety chains ARE a national requirement. In the US, at least. Most trailer operators still don’t have them or if they have them don’t hook them up. If you drive on an interstate highway you are required to have safety chains on the trailer and hooked up. I have personally observed that most people cannot be bothered to hook up the safety chains.
