1:32:07 The "birds are immune to spice" is a misconception. They are immune specifically to the spiciness from capsaicin which gives most of your stereotypically spicy foods like chili and ghost peppers their spiciness. However, they are NOT immune to all spicy chemicals such as the spiciness chemicals found in wasabi. They also find certain foods spicy that we don't, specifically artificial grape of all things.

I like the little 'you got this bro <3' you wrote to yourself in your notes. Made me smile.

Something I've started paying attention to with your content was their "re-watchability" after you had mentioned it in one of your previous videos. I think it's a mark of high-quality content, which I'm sure is what you were aiming for when you made that goal, and it might be why other people's long-form content isn't nearly as interesting as yours. Great stuff as usual.

Scott killing Vanny off-screen is the most Security Breach thing ever.

As someone who hasn't paid attention to anything fnaf related in the last few years it's kinda like a slap on the face to see that we have fnaf kart

Fun fact! Digging up a grave is a crime unless you get permission from the next of kin and grave site owners, this is then called exhumation.

I have adhd and usually get bored after 20-ish minute videos (if I can even get through those). The only time I watch longer content is to have background noise while drawing. But your content just scratches my brain right, I’ve been binging your videos for the last few weeks. I rarely feel bored when watching you. I think that’s a sign your content is of good quality, or entertaining content, or something like that.
Thanks man, for making content I can comfortably, fully sit through. This is game-changing tbh.

STILL CANT BELIEVE YOU WENT FROM SECURITY BREACH THE FIRST GAME YOU PLAYED TO THIS

1:32:20 peppers evolved to only be eaten by animals without molars. Creatures without molars (birds) swallow the seeds whole without crunching them, allowing the seeds to propagate when they poop. Capsaicin, the spicy compound, interacts with the receptors in our mouth that detect actual heat and tricks the sensors into going off. Bird heat receptors are different and do not interact with capsaicin.

As someone who has been gifted the honorary was here status, this really does feel like a super special video. I've watched all the marathon videos, constantly rewatch edited videos to help me sleep (and shoutout to the Inscryption VODs, not much of a VOD watcher but love that game.) and been generally poking around since the big blow up about a year or two back. It's been super fun watching this channel grow and seeing how much more animated spiff has become since I started watching him, I dunno what I wanna say really, but these videos really do go up there in things that I love to watch both on my own and as of recently with my sibling too. Thanks for all the content funny Canadian man, and here's to many more. :)

The 6 AM Security Breach finish and sub 20 hour UCN was so perfect, if anything was longer by even a minute it wouldn’t of happened

The face to face urinals are just the prisoner dilemma. If both are looking down, both lose. If one is looking up, the one looking up wins. If both look up, they both lose. Truly magnificent design

Watching spiff crush 50/20 in 8 MINUTES was the absolute best finale to this marathon, I wish I could’ve been at the stream, but just glad that I got to see this video. Keep up your great content spidf

@jacobcousineau 1 year ago

I think it's very fitting that the marathon ended with 50/20, the hardest marathon end with the hardest mode

The lifespan of the boat was a couple of minutes.
It went in the water, it got blown away from the coast, it tilted, water came it through the many cannon windows, it sank.
Peak swedish boat construction

3:23:47 you can hear what sounds like a short shallow breath, so yes you can hear the oversized chicken. I doubt someone awake for 16+ hours would be able to tell though.

Watching this when it started, then heading to bed, and waking up to the stream STILL happening was definitely a surreal experience. I was there for as much as I could, LETS GO SPIFF!
(I will take that honorary "was here" title from the end of the video and wear it with pride)

I think the biggest reason air travel is safer is because of the amount of training that pilots undergo, the safety systems within every airplane, as well as the entire aviation industry studying and learning from crashes
