Where can I get that kind of check valve. I bought a plastic one and I am afraid it gonna break again.

Would a bad pcv valve throw the P1181 code? What brand pcv and part number did you use? Saab OEM and Pro Parts make plastic ones.

Hello, great video, thank you! I replaced my broken valve with a new one from Skandix that looks just like yours. I was able to remove the old valve without any issues, but I had a hard time reaching and properly securing the lower part of the hose when installing the new one.

After starting the car, it idled fine, and I took it for a test drive where it ran smoothly. However, the check engine light is still on, and I noticed some smoke coming from the engine when I opened the hood.

Is it normal to see smoke after this kind of repair? Could it be because the bottom clip isn't securely fastened?

Was that a one way check valve?
