HoloLore: The world reacts to Gura's Graduation Announcement

Ranivus Ch

236,810 views

This is every react i could find about this topic... kind of surprised there wasn't more, I KNOW there is more...

I also had to cut some reacts because it was getting longer and longer and also the topics of some of the reacts were overtly negative. Which is understandable but I wanted to focus more on how Gura managed to effect the entire Content Creator sphere for the better. And to keep the hate brigadiers at bay, bc you know some vtuber fans are crazy.

The announcement didn't send shockwaves, it sent a whole tsunami throughout VTubers and YouTube. And yes the joke is intentional.

I was there before Gura debuted.
I was there when Gura debuted.
i was there when Gura streamed everyday.
I was there when Gura was going through some tough times.
I was there when Gura stopped streaming regularly.

I was there when gura announced her graduation.
I will be there when Gura is no longer Gura.

Ludwig's chat shitting on Gura simply because they don't like VTubers was extremely pathetic.

@EmhyrvarSpice 1 year ago

Ludwig: "Be nice to Sykkuno, he's going through a tough time."
Others: "Yeah, yeah. So am I."
Ludwig: "Gura graduated last night."
Others: "Oh, shit. Are you all right Sykkuno?"

To this day Giri’s chat is still waiting for that moment of silence 😂

People : Is it a graduation or a new project like a song ?
Gura : both

Asmon, Ludwig reacting to this and even supporting her. Made me happy. And they were fighting against the toxic jerks who hate Vtubers for zero reason. I mean I resonate with what they said, nothing but losers who hate on a girl for streaming as an animated character. It's the biggest Vtuber to exist and they're acting like it doesn't matter because it makes them feel good. Saw many losers like that, one even called me fatherless for even knowing her.

@ShachizawaNightmare 1 year ago

She already expressed how she felt in the song called "ash again"

It shows that even though she looks happy having so much attention and being the face of hololive, in the background shes actually having a hard time because many eyes on her makes it overwhelming, so overwhelming she can barely eat.

I get Asmongold and Ludwig's chat being uninterested in the topic because these two creators don't really cover anything vtuber. But what the hell, man. They really trying to ridicule the streamer for being invested in stuff outside their niche. Like, imagine someone heckling their favourite comedian for being serious for a minute all because "this is not what I came to you for". I'm glad Asmon call them out on it and Ludwig keeps an open mind.

Other vtubers: "Oh no! She'll be missed!"

Gura jumped in the water, created a wave for others to follow. Now, she got out of the water to finally rest and let the others create waves for the future...

Gura graduated, leaving (at least the character) 5 years of greatness. A legend to remember. 😔👊🏿

There was a Tweet from YourBudTevin that perfectly encaptulates how big this is "This is the Vtuber LeBron James Retiring" Like without Gura a lot of these Vtubers wouldnt be here

You know what crazy? in my country, even a renounce news outlets talk about her graduation. I mean the shear cultural impact she made are outstanding.

@MrMrnutbeast 1 year ago

As much as I love Gura, the title is probably the biggest reason for Gura's choice. We've seen the impact of fame, and how much it affects Gura. I hope she does well, that she rests up. The fact that that the world is actually having a reaction, and not even in a hyperbolic manner, it has had an impact that visibly affects people. I don't even know what else to say. Love your work as always Ranivus!

This was such a hard pill to swallow because of how important gura was to my life

Whenever someone graduates I remember this every time:
"if you truly love them, you can let them go"
