"Knife of My Slaying, to arms."

Yes my king.

This oryx is a younger one, one that still believed HEAVILY in the sword logic. Once he finds out we killed him, he is extremely willing to make us his heir, we could've been the next Taken King

The Echo of Navigation/Oryx literally went “Oh, so this person leveled up enough to finish the older me. Neat.”

At least the stars will remember the shape I gave them is so friggin tuff.

Joshua David King killed it as Oryx

I’m a teacher and I think I’m putting that quote on my wall
“At least the stars will remember the shape I gave them” is so profound.

I know the narrative team wrote this line but hearing Joshua David King performing this line 9:44 with such emotion might make this line even harder.

gave me actual chills.

"At least the stars will remember the shape I gave them."

Coldest line in Destiny history, I don't care what anyone says!

1:30 hardest aura energy in video game history ⚡

Some of the best dialogue in Destiny

2:05 “people die when they are killed” ahh quote

i didn't know he was chill like that

Imagine waking up as an inanimate object and learning your future self and your siblings just straight up failed and betrayed your reasons for existing. You'd probably let yourself get killed too.

3:59 one of the hardest lines by far.

Xivu Arath mourns in lack of Female voice actor

1:11 holy shit critic to voice actor it makes me feel the pure rage from the Echo of navigation

"If I truly died, then I am dead"
Yes Oryx, that does tend to be the case with death

He was so tired at the end.

8:19-8:40  One of the best dialogues I've heard in this season.  Eris was REALLY suffering and struggling from trying to bind Oryx to her will, this being evidence because she clearly underestimated him and his power. Dude was the first Hive God to take up the sword (one he made by himself mind you) and killed the worm god Akka that bound him and his sisters. I honestly don't know what made Eris think that she could take him!

Sure, she got one over Xivu Arath by kicking her out of her throne world and killed Savathun to ascend to a "Hive God Of Vengeance" but Oryx was a WHOLE new ball game! If he broke Akka's chains,he would break hers too!

if we got taken powers at the end of this season and it stayed in the game, I don't think anyone would have complained.
