A Tribute to the cast of Last of the Summer Wine

The ‘Summer Wine Decanted’ book is available from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CLMCRY5C and many online book sellers – and from the Wrinkled Stocking Tearoom, Holmfirth.
Many of you have commented that you appreciate having a real person present this channel. Lately, I’ve seen many faceless, possibly AI, videos claiming to show how various actors died. The videos show doctored photos, make exaggerated claims about how people passed away, and sometimes even say that living actors are dead. I wanted to create a dignified and authentic tribute. So, let’s take a look at what really happened to the cast of Last of the Summer Wine, honouring them in the order they passed.

When I hear the theme tune it's Sunday evening & I've got school the next day

I have to say well done, this was a most tasteful video - you handled the subject matter in an extremely professional and caring manner and I also appreciated the way you called out some of these AI channels which purport to tell facts but which in fact are just excuses to confuse and mislead the viewer. Thank you again.

This came from a place of much love for the show and the stars within, I got very emotional. That's how you make a tribute video and like it says, how you truly honour some much loved characters and actors

Bill Owen and Peter Sallis being buried next to each other made me cry. Thank you for such a respectful and tasteful video ❤

Watched 'Summer Wine' from 'Of funerals and fish' right through to 'How not to cry and weddings', my favourite comedy of all. I never tire of watching it.

Watching this brought home the fact that of all the cast, only Barry and Glenda are still alive. 😔 Thank you though for such a poignant tribute to these beloved actors. 💐 I'm glad that thanks to channels like yours they are in a sense with us forever.

Another great look at 'Last of the Summer Wine'. You've surpassed yourself again! I get the feeling you could have made this program 3 times as long, and it would still have been too short! Love every thing you do with LOTSW.
Thanks again.
