I was in first grade, a very obedient child, riding on the school bus on the way home in 1963. We were slowing down to stop on this 2-lane highway known as the Lincoln Highway to let Cathy off the bus at her house. I was sitting in the seat at the "hump" on the bus.

As the bus was coasting to a stop at Cathy's lane, a voice said to me, "Wouldn't it be FUN if you'd get up right now and walk up the aisle and sit right behind the bus driver?" And I said "Oh, no, I can't do that. One of the rules of the bus is that you don't change seats while the bus is moving."

Again the voice said "but WOULDN'T IT BE FUN TO DO THAT???!!!"

So...obedient child that I was, I went for it. I actually walked up the aisle, had to grab on to the seats as I walked up the aisle because the bus was moving, and the bus came to a stop, Cathy hopped onto the ground in her yard, and BAM!!! Just as I sat down in what was her seat behind the driver, a truck coming toward us failed to stop and slammed into our bus, right where I'd been sitting, at the hump. No doubt in my mind I would have died that day had I not listened to that little voice in my head.

Six months later, new bus, because that one was totaled, same driver, we had stopped in front of MY lane along the Lincoln Highway. I'd stepped down the first step, ready to step on the ground, and Patty's older brother sitting in the back of the bus yelled my name. THAT was weird -- he was a 10th-grader, and 10th-graders do not speak to first-graders. He yelled my name, I stepped the step back up and said "What?!!" and in that split second, a car had taken the ditch and drove right past the bus where I WOULD HAVE BEEN STEPPING ONTO OUR DRIVEWAY.

My mom and oldest sister were watching this happening from the kitchen window and were still in shock when I just bopped up the lane, not even realizing what had just not happened.

Within a year we moved off the highway to a nice quiet house on nice quiet back roads a few miles away, where my dad grew up, in a different school district. They had to move the whole farm over there, which was quite a big deal. I didn't have any more close calls after that.

I now know I really do have a Guardian Angel! My Angel saved me from certain death, in 2020. Went shopping & decided to walk home. Was at the curb of a 4 way stop. When I stepped off the curb & took 2 steps I litterly ran into a solid mass, like a person. But, there was no one there! Backed up & tried again, but same thing happened. Then heard a voice on my head, tell me to get back on the curb, now! So, I did, & right after I did, a car ran the red light at a high rate of speed! It went through right where I had been standing! If I had been there, I would have been killed. I have never been so shaken up in my life! And I thank God for my Gardian Angel, everyday!

Man, I can attest to how a dog can get you out of depression. I moved by myself to my own little house 45 minutes away from "our" house, trying to decide whether this was my new life now, or whether this was my "office space." I knew already that this was my new life now, but after 25 years of marriage, accepting that was tough. I was trying to come to terms with my life, and was mostly in tears.

My good friend suddenly needed a new home for her Dalmatian, who kept escaping her back yard where she kept him because her new boyfriend didn't want the dog in the house. She drove him up to my house. I'd met this dog, and was terrified of big loud barking dogs because of an incident when I was little. I really did not want to keep him. She assured me that if it didn't work out in three weeks, she'd take him back.

So he stayed. He needed to be walked. He needed toys. He needed a vet. He needed all the things.

If I hadn't had him forced into my life, I'd still be sitting on that sofa in that little house in 2001, sobbing, unable to decide what to do next. He taught me how to be with dogs. He taught me healthy communication. He literally healed my broken heart and helped me move on -- which we did. We moved four states away, I got a new job, remodeled an old house, and when I was totally adjusted to the job and the house and the little reservation town, he died. And came back a month later as an 8-week-old Brittany Spaniel, who was a HANDFUL!

I am so grateful for that big gentlemanly Dalmatian who sat in the back of my Honda Odyssey like a king, while I chauffeured him around. What a guy.

I was doing Duolingo the other night brushing up on my native language…which I do most days as my son is learning it. That particular night it made me miss my mum, who died last winter. Just then in my native language it came up “this is your mother” and “she says goodnight”. 😮 That phrase has never come up before, or since.

Alex...my dad who wasn't having a good day said to me once, "do you have to be so dam cheerful?" I said to him, "well yes dad I do... it's a beautiful day!" I notice those that choose to be miserable get very irritated by those who choose cheerfulness.

I can relate to the story of the lady grieving her son. I was secluded because of my spiritual awakening, and my daughter brought home a puppy. Then she moved out. At first I didn't want him, but looking back, I'm glad she brought him home to me. He has been the most active animal in my life. I had to potty train him, play with him all the time, and he got me outside every day to walk him (I had a gated backyard), and he demands attention where my other animals didn't. I'm glad he showed up, he is the best dog I never wanted 😂.

I m public prosecutor from India recently i hv visited forensic science laboratory for taraining purpose where organs of murdered deceased and other unnatural dead persons kept for testing.... The minit i entered the premises i felt vary heavy sad energy there and for next 2hrs my gut muscles kept vibrating uncomfortably. I stayed there for 6hrs ... After reaching home i took salt bath and got relaxed...

Ive had so many physical signs since my husband passed, and I am truly comforted by all of these, but one night I said out loud, “I just wish I could hear you say, “I love you” again. Next day I tuned into you tube to listen to one of my favourite independent news channels. They were talking about something newsworthy in the entertainment industry, and the newsreader asked people to call in to name their favourite song of all time. He led by naming his favourite, and burst out singing…”I just called to say I love you.” I gasped bc I knew my husband had just answered my request, plus it was a Stevie Wonder song we had danced to on a special occasion. I cried such happy tears.

I'm one of the Lucky Ones who actually experienced my Guardian Angel saving me from possible great injury to death.
I drove a transportation bus for the Music Academy of the West in CA. close to Santa Barbara, picking up High academic music students from their lodging and delivering them to the School. It was one of the first truly large capacity busses made at the time. I'd park the bus in the Pacific Oceanside parking lot and waited a couple hours for their classes to dismiss then I picked them up to return them back to their lodging in time for lunch.
It happened to be a drizzly day, (In CA.? ) which caused a lot of mud splatter from the freeway traffic all the way up to my front windows, diminishing my view. There was no doubt the window wipers did not clean my mirrors nor a lot of the window space, so I had to climb up on the wheel well to clean the side mirrors and , while there, I had to get up on the hood to clean the front windows, too.
As I took my first step to ascend to the hood, a voice as loud as a person next to me would sound, said, "Don't climb up there, you will fall." I was a little surprised because I've never heard something like telepathy, before. "What?", I said. the voice repeated, again. "Don't climb up there, you will fall." lol, I was talking to a voice in my head and thought I was crazy. So, I responded to the voice, "Don't worry, I'll be careful.", then resumed my climb.
I made it up to the hood holding onto the mirror supports, slowly and carefully washing the windshield. Then I cautiously stood up to plan my safe descent. I took one step toward the mirror supports and my right foot slipped out in front of me sliding me toward the ground. I remember calling, "OH God, help!, out loud.
Immediately, everything went into slow motion and I saw my body do a 360 degree flip toward the ground, landing on both feet approx. 10 ft. offside facing the back of the bus, feeling my knees bend to absorb the shock as I landed and said, "Whoa, Thank You, God" as I slowly straightened up. Then my awareness turned back to normal speed. I didn't move a muscle for a few seconds trying to make sure I was stable. Then I slowly headed back inside of the bus to pick up my transports. I drove very cautiously due to being in shock, still. I drove them back to their housing and was invited to lunch but declined.
I headed back to the garage, cleaned out my bus and headed home. I think I was in limbo all day thinking about what happened, and giving thanks. For a few days after the incident, when l drove at night, I;d see a small halo of light around some of the cars at night. In my mind, I decided those were cars with spirit protecting the passengers.
Believe me! I will never forget that experience. And, I will never forget that my Guardian Angel /s are with me always. Thank You, God.

I'm going to not cry right now and share this situation with you. I just returned from Peru, the Amazon, I spent 3 weeks with Ayahuasca. Just returning 3 weeks ago, 3 days ago for some strange reason I decided to go out for a drive. While traveling down a two-lane rode, I looked in the side mirror and saw a white car and a voice in the back of my head said, your going to make a u-turn and that car is going to hit you. Just as suddenly as that happened, I made a stupid u-turn where you can't make a u-turn, and bam, I was hit twice by this young man. I was moving at 35 mph and came to a stop. when I looked over at the car there was a white boy with blond hair in the driver's seat. I called my husband and asked him to come immediately and bring his son to drive, he said, call 911. I kept watching the car all the while and waited for that white boy with blond hair to get out of the car and then a little Mexican boy, very young man, young young young, maybe 19/20 maybe, get out of the car. I sat and watched him and waited for the blond, white boy to get out of the car. The police arrived and I realized that the little Mexican boy was the driver. I was so confused. The next day my husband and I were taking the car to the shop and my husband said, I think that accident was supposed to happen. I spun my head to him and said omg baby omg. Let me tell you what happened right before the accident. He spun his head and said omg, that boy, that boy, I said yes, yes, for some reason I caused that accident for him. I changed something for him. He was supposed to be here. I admitted all the way though the event that it was my fault. Even though it was a rearended accident I could have said anything. He rearended me and just stuck with the story and he would have been at fault all the way but I couldn't do that, it was all wrong. Karma was sitting in the seat next to me. I guess I don't need an angel to tell me lol that for some reason this was designed. But what I'm not understanding is the blond boy I saw. I do know I lost my little brother, white boy with blond hair in an accident years ago but don't feel if it was him or not. Anyway, there are the angels speaking to us.

Farming is not boring. Every day, something unexpected could happen with the animals, weather, machinery, etc. and usually does. It is more dangerous than people realize. Great to see Matt on this podcast.

This is absolutely 100% correct! I got to see my guardian angel in my car accident and I will NEVER forget that moment. He sat on the passenger seat as I was driving alone and flipping repeatedly all across the freeway. It was the most awesome calm I’ve felt in my life. I can’t even describe that level of calm and at peace I felt at what was literally the most tragic moment of my life. But I looked over and saw him sitting there like I see the phone in my hand right now. And yep, we do have more than one.

My mom (passed) is helping me regularly with my art. I hear in my head, "try adding _ color to that area, and don't forget your layers!". She's quite comical sometimes. But I know she's watching me paint and lends her skills to mine. My art has improved in leaps and bounds since she passed. Yes, I keep working at it which is key, and it's nice to get pro tips from spirit 😉☺️
