Ravana had conquered all three worlds. The gods were his prisoners. The nine planets bowed on the steps of his palace.

Then he met a vanara who caught him in his tail and carried him around all four oceans while Ravana hung there, helpless and screaming.

That warrior's name was VAALI — the king of Kishkindha, and the single strongest fighter the Ramayana ever produced. Yet his is the one story from the Ramayan that almost nobody tells.

This is the untold gatha of Kishkindha — a story of unmatched power, blinding ego, and the justice of dharma.

WHAT THIS FILM COVERS
---------------------------------------------------------------

▸ The single sentence Devarshi Narad speaks in the golden court of Lanka that sets Ravana's ego on fire
▸ The southern sea shore — Vaali's tail, Ravana's defeat, and a circuit of all four oceans with the demon king dragged along
▸ Fire as witness: how a defeated Ravana becomes Vaali's sworn friend
▸ The demon Mayavi's challenge, a cave swallowed in darkness, and one boulder that breaks two brothers forever
▸ Sugriva's coronation — a throne he never wanted and could not refuse
▸ The killing of Dundubhi, and the curse of Maharishi Matanga that turns Rishyamukh into Sugriva's only sanctuary
▸ Hanuman in the guise of a brahmin, and his first meeting with Shri Ram — "I do not need the support of strength, I need the support of dharma"
▸ Ram's proof of power — Dundubhi's mountain-sized skeleton flicked away with a toe, and seven mighty sal trees pierced by a single arrow
▸ The duel of two brothers, the garland of gajapushpi flowers, and the arrow of dharma
▸ The Ram–Vaali dialogue — the sharpest exchange of questions and answers in the entire Ramayana
▸ Vaali's final moments, his param gati, and the coronation of Sugriva

THE QUESTION PEOPLE STILL ARGUE ABOUT

"Why did Ram shoot Vaali from behind a tree?"

It is the most debated question in the Ramayana — and it was Vaali himself who demanded the answer from Shri Ram, face to face, with the arrow already in his chest.

All four of Vaali's arguments. All four of Ram's answers. Nothing softened, nothing skipped.

What do you think — was Ram right?
