Julia and Parker are going on a road trip when their car suddenly stops. They try calling for help but their phones are dead. Unknown to them the US got hit by an EMP, an electromagnetic pulse that frys all electronics. Now they must survive in an unforgiving environment.

Moral of the story: don't laugh at preppers. If everyone in the story prepped as much as they could, the story's ending might have been a bit happier.

The old lady was the most realistic character in the entire movie. In reality, the beta-male husband would've been dead on day 3 and military dude wouldn't have even hooked up with them.

She doesnt like weapons so i will assume she has never held a gun before. Yet she makes a kill shot after diving on the ground for a gun.
