Good times. Id love to spend that much time to light each song. I can live vicariously through your videos. Your "draft" mode is usually where we have to call it for time.
This is really cool to see! As a Production Director at a medium sized church, I am using Lightkey but programming very similarly to how you program with a cue list and then different buttons for hits and such. Thats just how I picked it up as being the best way and really cool to see someone at a large church doing it basically how I do it (although to a much larger scale!)
I would do white vertical beams from ceiling to floor. But at random places. (say you got 36 lights in a 6x6 grid on the ceiling. Let A3, then D6, then B5, then ... --> just random 1 flash of a beam going straight down for a short time on that da-da-da-dam beat lol) Or a few random at the same time, alternating between the da-da-da-dam 😁😁
Reminds me of my school days. Back then I was the school technician with a friend. Once a year there was a Christmas performance where we got to program the lighting. We were pretty pressed for time as we had around 5 hours to program a 2-hour performance. But it was so fun :D
Man, I miss programming shows. Even when it's a genre of music I've got no interest in, getting to be creative on a decent sized ground package is a ton of fun.
Thank you! Great video! I'm beginner and playing with onPc at home. It's awesome to watch how to do thinks and get inspiration. It would be nice, if there's video where shown all programming process. To program along. Greetings and be blessed!
