Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but if you have to layer an expensive perfume with its dupe to become stronger and last longer, then just get the dupe.

Please wear Artisan Ethnique one day when it's cold and you're feeling tired, sad, or just blah! It's a cool weather scent that makes me feel strong and powerful. I hope the fragrance grows on you. It really grew on me!

I love Killian Princess! It is my calming/comforting fragrance. It doesn’t project very far but I don’t have an issue with wear time. I have a lot of fragrances but I have a back up bottle of this one. If Sephora still has this as a Sample set for $98, it is a great way to get this much cheaper. Even better if you buy the Sample set during a Sephora sale! It is another step rather than just the direct discount but I paid about $80 for this.
If I see a strawberry note, I move on. Same with cherry but a bit more open. Unfortunately both of these are very popular right now!

I really think it’s difficult to say if something is overhyped or good or bad because what one person loves another may not. Fragrance is 100% subjective. Opinions are just that, they aren’t truth. If I’d have listened to a content creator about a few fragrances I’d have never discovered my favorite biggest compliment getting perfumes. Proof that your own nose is your own opinion & you should trust no one’s nose but your own. I no longer blind buy based off of recommendations unless I can buy from a shop that accepts returns & wherever possible I buy decants first. I won’t not get something because someone says it stinks or they don’t like it & I won’t buy something because someone else says they love it & it’s gorgeous. I kinda feel like personal fragrance reviews are a waste of time. Unless it’s a professional reviewing it & not giving their opinion (there is a difference) I take it with a grain of salt.

Another banger of a video, Pieri! I enjoy both Eclaire flankers, but I know what you mean when your hubby doesn’t care for a fragrance. Thanks for the reminder, because my hubby is out of town, and he doesn’t care for Missing Person, so I just sprayed down with it! 😂😂😂 Heal the way is my favorite Snif fragrance. And I have quite a few! Love her down! So cozy! Finally, Princess is in my top ten for sure! And I highly recommend Julianna’s Perfume Miss Independent as the best and longest lasting inspired by. I layer them to boost longevity. Tfs, and TGIF, girl! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

HSW is good, it's not mindblowing but it is like an elevated black opium. I agree about Princess -- i do layer it with the Oakcha dupe but to be honest, noen of the dupes have gotten it exactly right. Princess has such a fine balance and refinement, Dua, Oakcha, Julianna's haven't pinned it down. I need an Arab brand to get in the lab lol

Princess is still my fav! It hasn’t been dethroned since the day I first wore it a few years ago. 👑💗

I know Artisan Ethnique is supposed to be a dupe to Sugar Addict (which I haven’t smelled), but it reminds me so much of Commodity Milk (the expressive one), which I have a love hate relationship with. It’s like I love it when I first spray it and then after 30 minutes I’m getting sick of it. I can only wear like 2 sprays of commodity milk, because it just overpowers. I will say Artisan Ethnique is a little less pungent, but it’s still a fragrance I can’t wear too long. Some have suggested to spray it on your ankles so it won’t be so close to your nose, but since I wear boots mainly in the fall and winter that doesn’t work for me. It sucks because the part of me that loves it wants to keep it, but I’m going to have to eventually declutter it. The dry-down makes me a bit nauseous, but I love it on men.

I grabbed Phlur Strawberry Letter on final clearance from Anthropologie for $37…no regrets! I love to layer it with BBW Strawberry Flirt body cream and FFM. I really love Phlur DNA but definitely get that it’s not always for everyone…

I have the Original Princess and Oakcha's dupe for it.. It smells almost identical. But Oakcha's version is like Princess on steroids. Lol. Especially now that it has been a year since I bought it, the vanilla is more creamy, the ginger more spicy, etc.. And it lasts 8 hours on my skin and days on clothes.
