We should be going after the big guys,  not these low level dealers.   This is just feeding the for profit prison system and not stemming the flow.  Go after the cartels!

this is ridiculous. weed is sold in stores. it's like spending money to mount a sting operation to catch people buying and selling groceries. WTF!

It is So Sad as I lived in Tucson for over 15 years. In the late 60s -80s, it just didn't seem to be such a bad problem . My mom was the manager of the Wax Museum at Old Tucson, she never had any   problems with drugs or people coming into old Tucson that were trouble makers.
Now in the last 20 years, it is always a problem. The museum closed along time ago and my mom has passed, She loved the desert sky and the natural beauty of the desert, it is so very sad the place we called home, even South Tucson has fallen to this level.

What the U.S. government and it's polices have done to Native Americans is a disgrace. They experienced genocide, forced removal from their lands, having their culture stolen from them, and now they are living on reservations that have few opportunities. Poverty, and lack of opportunity, creates alcholism, drug addiction, and crime. This segment was heartbreaking. Now these people will have records and it will be even harder for them to get on their feet.

Oh so create a crime to catch so called criminals. Let's get them all in prison and take their land! Sickening. This is NOT okay.  Get to the root of this problem

Been there. One part of the reservation has a community center by the Catholic church that sells native crafts and serves food.

Going after people who do crime so they can feed their families.
