Gotta wake up labor day to DISS

Dude I love that the bullseye on his forehead is perfectly aligned with the play button animation so every time you play or pause it fires a shot and you see the "kill shot" animation. So awesome

@ErinJeanette 2 years ago

My favorite part is at the beginning where he's in the background "why you yell at da mic" 😂😂

@Vigilante916 3 years ago

Fun fact, "Killshot" dropped on the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's death. 🤯

Em is too lyrical even for lyrical rap fans. He always has some sick shit that some may never figure out.

''So you got me in a scope but you grazed me''
graze beside barely hitting has another meaning which is feeding a goat , EM basically is saying Mgk fed him by his diss at him ''
and There is a movie called KILLSHOT , which in that movie someone names COLSON , which is MGK's real name will be hunt down by a MARSHALL , EMINEM's real name, and Em later on says:
''Lethal injection, go to sleep 6 feet deep
I'll give you a B for the effort, but if I was 3
Foot 11, you'd look up to me''
if you put the 6 and the B and the 3 and the 11 together ,
it's gonna be 6B311 , which is the code name of a PLANE that carried the cast of the movie KILLSHOT ,

EM is literally an alien , THE RAP GOD

The “locks changing” bar also means his hair has changed. Calling back to his weird beard and the fact that he used to bleach his hair too but now he’s older and has darker hair and rhymes…

@NixonV245 3 years ago (edited)

The fact that it took him less than 15 minutes to write this is insane especially with those multi-syllables and rhyme schemes

@drewfitzsimmons5046 3 years ago

Em's the closest we have to a modern day Shakespeare.

Pretty sure your original breakdown is what got me on your channel. Been watching all your content ever since. You don't catch em all, but you catch a hell of a lot more than everyone else and always on the first go

@albertopanocchi8861 3 years ago (edited)

If you notice: " your reply got the crowd yelling woo, so before you dye let's see who can out petty-who" is a reference to Tom Perry's famous song "Running Down a dream" where the crowd, especially at concerts, would yell WOO continually for 1 minute straight with the guitar solo. It was a staple at Tom Petty concerts. Tom Petty died shortly before this battle. Also, this song was written by Em in 13 minutes and was published on the 14th September 2018 the same date of death of Patrick Swayze ( 14 Sep. 2009).
If you search carefully in this part of killshot you can find Eminem's plane number ( on which he wrote the song)
<I'll give you a (B) for the effort, but if I was three(3) Foot 11 (F11)... > etc etc...
Also, "nail in the coffin" is a reference to em. Diss against benzino, but the he flip it against mgk as if to say " you thought you would have got me but your nails were soft as cottonelle >>

Eminem said in Bully that he got money to clap back at anyone who tries to kill him over his raps. Diddy would need witness protection if he decided to do Eminem in. And Diddy knows this which is why he didn't actually "handle" Em like he said he would.

@Cdoesgames2 3 years ago

Your breakdowns got me into lyricists. I used to think rap didn’t have much substance but you breaking it down helped me understand all the doubles and triples and multi syllable rhyme schemes. Keep it up!

I love that you acknowledged that you pause and people will complain XD why do people do that. Its analysis. Love your channel bro - keep up the great work.

@Joel_Dot_Exe 3 years ago

No reaction/analysis video i’ve seen mentions how hard the “pop champagne to this” line is, in reference to MGK posting that video of himself spraying a bathroom with Veuve just bc Em dissed him on Kamikaze

@ZachTV18 3 years ago

1. The Eminem Show
2. The MMLP
3. The SSLP

6. MTBMB
7. Encore
8. Relapse
9. Revival
10. Kamikaze (too short)

Just a classic, it never gets old to listen to Eminem's diss. As always a fantastic and enjoyable breakdown by professor of bars Knox hill.

@kristophertaylor-tu5vk 3 years ago

I’m surprised Knox Hill didn’t catch the “toothpick” play on words and double/triple. Eminem says, “ little white toothpick” later he says “you’re loosing the fight you PICKED” play on looking like one and picking the fight literally and in some weird way metaphorically lol.
