Want to get away from it all and treat yourself to a lunch break immersed in nature?
About an hour from Turin, just above Cesana Torinese, there's just over 6 km of dirt road leading to Lago Nero.
But be careful: in this video, I don't just want to show you a beautiful place. I want to help you understand when we can truly define a dirt road as "easy" for a maxi-enduro.
Because simply saying a road is easy isn't enough.
During the route, we analyze the road's width, surface, presence and size of rocks, gradients, hairpin bends, spaces for passing other vehicles, and any potential critical points.
The Lago Nero dirt road is frequented by maxi-enduros, motorcycles, ATVs, off-road vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, so even on a simple route, maintaining an appropriate speed is essential.
There are some drainage ditches and water-carved ruts that require attention, especially when tackling them at high speed.
And at the end of the route, the best part awaits: Lago Nero, a spectacular place to stop, eat a sandwich, and enjoy a few moments of peace in the silence of the mountain. 🏔️
