Leo and Heather's channel is the only one that gives information of those who have passed as well as the cause of their deaths Well done you two!

K.G.E. Knights of the Golden Eagle. The Knights of the Golden Eagle was a fraternal organization founded in Baltimore in 1872.[1]

History
The order's original objectives were to help its members find employment and aid them while unemployed. Membership was open to white males over 18, without physical or mental handicaps, who were able to write and support themselves, were law-abiding, of sound moral character, and of the Christian faith. There was a female auxiliary called the Ladies of the Golden Eagle.[2]

In the early years of its existence the group received assistance from other secret societies and fraternal groups. The Odd Fellows helped them become established in Philadelphia in 1875 and the Knights of Pythias helped them become established in Massachusetts in 1880.[3]

Yes the lady below my comment is correct for the word hysterectomy. Apparently she had or went into kidney failure during her female surgery. Excellent vlog! Love these stories in you uncover in the cementaries! Great work!!!!!!

You read in of people dying of diseases years ago that you don't hear of anymore, thanks to more sanitary living conditions and better medicines.  We have been blessed in our lifetime.  Great video.  Thanks.

Hey from Memphis thanks for remembering these folks. They certainly seem to have lived tough lives.

I love this Channel, you guys go above and beyond in what you do.

I’m from Texas and by chance came upon your channel and just got hooked. I just love to hear all the history of the people you talk about, those cemeteries you go out of your way to visit and give us the stories of the people resting there. It’s all so very interesting and informative. Thank you for going through the trouble of doing this and paying respects to all those people that probably don’t have anyone to come visit them anymore

EPISODE IDEA::: y'all should research & find out where the OLDEST marked grave/graves in WV/KY are, & their stories & do an episode!!!

Thank you for honoring these people...

KGE ---- Knights of the Golden Eagle. My grandfather was a member.

Oh, I just absolutely loved this video Heather and Leo.  This is a beautiful and peaceful cemetery.  I love to visit old historic cemeteries.  This is ONE of the BEST videos that you have done in WV.  My second favorite is finding the grave of Mamie Thurmond.  Oh, the video on the Dingess tunnel was also great. However, this particular video  takes my heart back to Rt. 60 in WV.  You are in one of my very favorite parts of the state which is close to Lewsiburg and White Sulphur Springs.  The story of Zone Hester Shue is one of the most mysterious ones in the state.  I have a collection of ghost stories of WV and all of them include the sad and tragic death of her. Zone Hester  was a very pretty lady.   Thank you for this awesome video.  Just keep up doing the awesome research that you do Heather.

Thank you both for documenting these graves. ❤

May they all rest in peace!

I love walking thru cemeteries old and new mostly old ones reading headstones...

Thanks for such a detailed episode !  Tb was very prevalent   then.  So sad.

Since Halloween season coming up, I would like to see more ghost stories.

I like this picture of Heaster. Beautiful lady, but she looked like she had seen some hard times.
Beautiful cemetery, looks well cared for.  Interesting stories, may they all rest in peace 🙏  Thank you very much Leo and Heather, for another interesting video. Have a great weekend.  😊😊

Wow people died so young back then… great video. 👍

Love this! Thank you Heather and Leo!!! ❤❤❤

Thank you both ❤❤❤
