In this episode we had a completely different experience. After almost a year of arrangements, we managed to enter Unit 48 of the San Martín Penitentiary Complex to see a place that very few people have been able to walk through with a camera.
During the visit we got to know CUSAM, the university center that operates inside the unit, where people deprived of their freedom study different trades and university degrees. There we visited the barbering course, talked with the students, and shared a day of learning alongside Facu Navajas.
We also toured different areas of the university, learned how a barbershop was born inside the prison, and discovered the work they do to teach a trade to those who are looking to build a new life project.
A documentary-style tour through a little-known place, where barbering becomes a tool for learning, effort, and new opportunities.
