The changes to Lightspeed are the best thing any healer has ever gotten in this game. 15seconds of instant casts every 60 seconds(after the enhancement later on) with 2 maximum charges? That’s freaking HUGE

you must be reading my mind. i really wanted to pick up astro as my first healer but was waiting for you to make an updated video with it. i love that you go by level rather than what combos off of each other at level 100 like some other videos ive watched. thank you!

this is exactly what ive been looking for! someone smart to sit me down and be like 'this is how you use ast and why.' I main dps but really want to get good at ast spesifically for roleplay reasons- but the presure of keeping a party alive with a class i was struggling with was wayyy too much. this makes everything so much easier to understand!

I'm just starting at AST this is so helpful thanks!

Astro has always been very obtuse for me. I just picked it up after DT and just got it to 50 today, but I was never quite sure what I was doing. This was very clear and helpful!

I pretty much wait for your guides before I pick up any of the changed classes. Amazing as always!

Best part of AST, sustain, sustain, sustain. The Regen status effect can absolutely out heal flat healing in general if done correctly, and AST can stack Regen up to about 3 or 4 times. Benefic -> Tank, Helios -> party, Celestial Opposition -> party, place yourself as close to the combat zone as possible without agroing and Collective Unconscious -> party. 3 to 4 Regen stacks on top of a 10% damage reduction to the whole party. Like I said, sustain, sustain, sustain. Lol always works for me, haven't had a party wipe yet thanks to that rotation. The best part is if you are quick enough you can card sling while doing this rotation.

Re-upped my sub after a year of inactivity, so these videos are very helpful for re-learning (and learning new) mechanics for my 89 AST 😅 I do kinda miss having to make card decisions based on the draw though, felt a bit more involved.

This is great timing for this video. I was just looking at your old astro vid yesterday, cause im thinking of giving it a try, but decided i would wait till an updated one came out lol

i was able to get over my healing anxiety with whm but i really wanna get into ast and challenge myself. thank you for the guide. i am endgame but ast has always been intimidating to me.

Great updated guide! I love Astro and almost have it at 100, but it remains the one job where I need index cards to memorize all the nuances of their abilities. 😂

Thank you for the video! Absolutely amazing!

I had my eyes on Astrologian as soon as I picked up the game with my friend and now that we reached Ishgard I imidietly picked it up, dusting off my years of healer knowledge. It's such a fun class and role so far (I've been a Paladin after leaving Gridania).

The weaving of cards, using Essential Dignity regularly and other tips helped elevate my game sooo much and after 30 levels (we haven't even reached the Hinterlands yet) the muscle memory is starting to kick in. :D

Not the best healer but this will be my next one i grind to 100. Looks simple so far in the arr level range

I remember picking Astro up in end walker . I find it a bit challenging on controller when it came to the cards. Favorite Healer alongside SCH.

nice video especially as i'd say ast is the healer i was most unsure about when i unlocked it. Also didn't know they had a trait that sounds like it's a similar trap to freecure
