my computer immediately started running smoother, lmao

Thanks for these useful tips.

Thank you a lot!

System Mechanic Ultimate Defense from Iolo takes care of all that. I have used it for many years..

Best youtube channel, right here

BATTLECRUISER OPERATIONAL

Run commands ...
- %windir%\temp or temp (same directory)
- %temp% (Users directory)
- prefetch
- cleanmgr (save yourself the headache and just execute this program on C: drive)

Hold the 'Shift' key when hitting the DELETE key to skip emptying the Trash Bin 😊

The largest benefit I noticed is that the CPU consumption rate on my computer is far lower now.  The computer must be constantly scanning these files "in case" it needs them.  Removing them lifts that burden from the processor I suppose.

Awesome

Some programs can do this and make it much easier, like Microsoft PC Manager.

Have you made a video on how to remove windows edge from 10?

And what three hidden folders did we delete?

How do you locatte the change folder and searc option for windows 11

Inside of Nvidia folder i have only  "ComputeCache" and there are many folders named by numbers or letters such as  : 4, 5, "a" and so one. I shoud deelete them?

Also you can type %temp% and get a full list of temporary files

YES LETS DIVE IN! 😄

Sorry to say but none of these will make the pc faster. They might free up some storage yes, but they will be rebuilt again, temp files don't endlessly accumulate, they are temporary. Shade cache will be rebuilt. If you delete it, your system has to rebuilt it for each game.

also from C:\Windows\Prefetch (or run>prefetch) delete all files

It definitely feels like it runs faster after doing this.

His File-Folder Explorer is different than mine.
His example is likely Windows 10.
On my computer, I have Windows 11, the Explorer does not have the text menu, "File - Home - Share - View".
In Windows 11, to get to the Folder Options, Go to the middle of the File Explorer where it shows: "Sort - View - (3 horizontal dots)" .
Click the 3 dots to open a sub menu and at the bottom, "Options" with the cog wheel icon, click that.
The Folder Options window opens and that remains the same per this video.

For the AMD APP, also different than mine.
To get to its "Reset Shader Cache", open the AMD APP (usually it is in the Task Bar - System Tray for the background APPS icon list), then Click "Gamers" in the top menu, click "Graphics" tab, the settings for the Shader Cache is under "Graphic Options". Click "perform reset (with the reverse arrow icon)".
