Man if there's ONE good thing that came out of 2020 and was cemented once again, it's that
Speedy J came out and reclaimed the Techno throne from the entire world. This man is untouchable in terms of versatility, improvisation, groove, technicality, all of the above. He is still as powerful as he was in the 90's or early 2000's, even after decades of changes in the scene, sound, what's hot and what's not. Speedy J is truly a force to be reckoned with and I feel extremely lucky to have shared my time on this Earth with such a presence. What a faascinating human.

100% straight old skool techno from a legend himself

About 17 years ago, Speedy J and Chris Liebing played together in Melbourne for very first time in front of only couple of hundred people as techno scene in Melbourne was very small back then. However, of corse they played solid techno set and when the show was over we had a time to have a chat with him and he was saying to everyone.

“Thank you so much for enjoying our music”

He is a legend.

Proper Techno….no fist pumping. Just the way it should be!

Dear Mr. Speedy J,
Thank you for melting my face off with this mix. I feel like a new human!

Thumbs up for SpeedyJ to play at AWAKENINGS 2021

I'm 50 years.  You have always been my  path of Techno

I LOVE TECHNO

I just found an awesome Speedy J tape from the 90s in my old cassette collection called Tokyo techno project!! It’s Awesome!!!!

I am 43 and this guy never got me down:) I still have the CD album PUBLIC ENERGY - amazing masterwork. I love this set - high-quality techno.

Saw him playing different times, an all night long is what I remember best. 5 hours of pure madness.  Kick was coming and going... The ride too...  Atmosphere was sweaty and really hot...
Amazing moments

He's the real deal.

This is the real deal. Nobody does this mechanical repetitive hard pounding relentless techno quite like Jochem.

Ir's really nice to hear a DJ that plays in 2020 remembering the roots of all.

speedy j is my favourite dj..thanks for his work :-)

44:00 playing a timeless track from 1996: Planetary Assault Systems - Surface Noise. What a hero

Speedy J - from zero to hero- that’s my oppinion. In the early days:  something for my … ed was not ok ; to commercial, …AND THAN ONE DAY, ca 10 years ago I was listening to Clb & Speedy J  colapse Lehmansclub. Unbelievable, Was this the same guy. YES IT WAS. From that moment on I started following YOU and now you are for me the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. Damn what a metamorphosis.Heil to the King!!!

The REAL proper techno

Tremendous mix. Speedy J showing the scene what the real TECHNO is about.

29:30 I have never heard such piano mixed in together. It glued nicely but Speedy took it off so quickly, guilty pleasure : > >

This should have millions more views. 🎉😅❤
