Some important things to note:

The main timeline's Hairionette leans more into the "hair" aspect of its name, while the mirror timeline's version leans more into the "Marionette" aspect of its name. Is this the case for the future Paironormals too?

Also, in its bio, it's said to be in a crisis between having and not having control. The main timeline's version looks to be a lot more free and happy, and in control of its life. However, the mirror version has strings to it (like a puppet) and looks withered away, almost as if something's been controlling it and it's tired of being controlled. Just a thought!

I think the pairanormals are gonna get an island and a mirror version where it’s basically completely different depending on what timeline it’s in, basically 2 new islands in one!

Me personally I believe the Epic Strombonin animation didn't change as much as buzzinga and yawstrich possibly because the actual trombone is huge which could mean its extremely heavy. Hence why the legs are the most animated to almost balance the weight like some humans do.

So interested to see how both the titansouls and the paironormals will be from now on! (Still hyped for a psychic titansoul, but it’s looking like we’re gonna be waiting a bit longer for that)

Thank you for getting these out so quickly! I keep forgetting that London time is about 5 hours ahead of Eastern, so thank you for staying up late for our sakes!

I lowkey thought bro was gonna have a heart attack when he saw that he basically predicted it

@Ink_Boy47 1 year ago

11:16 it is actually a reference to the song 12 days of Christmas with the two turtle doves, five gold rings, 8 milking maids, and twelve drummers. Hope this helps!

No one would’ve expected a new monster class today since we got the Titansouls 2 months ago but it’s still an amazing surprise!

The monster-handlers has yet again: BAMBOOZLED us whenever it comes to anything Psychic Island related!

While I was playing through the game for most of the day waiting for minor form Hairionette to be available, I noticed that there’s a certain small window of time where BOTH the major, and minor forms are available at the same time, mainly during the evenings at sunset, and mornings during sunrise.
This also plays out like an eclipse when the two forms overlap, reminding me of how the Daycare Attendant behaves in FNAF Security Breach, where Sunnydrop is active during the day, Moondrop is active during the night, and Eclipse is active in between those times of day.

I also notice that the Paironormal wordmark is designed in a way where it still says the same thing when seen upside down, much like how some words are spelled, or said in the same way backwards as well, truly showing how the major, and minor forms of these pair of monsters mirror each other!

I've said it before, but two new classes in a year absolutely makes up for the lack of an island, especially considering they're probably setting the stage for islands to come. Fire expansion gave us Werdo counterparts through the form of relic costs, Titansouls gave us Wubbox counterparts through requiring Commons, Rares, and Epics, and now we have Paironormals as the Ethereal counterpart. Magical islands have been eating good to say the least.

It’s surprising to me how many people don’t realize that the reason the parinormal logo look like that is because you can flip it upside down and it still works. I love things like that

It is funny how long it took for him to realize it’s not a TitanSoul. He got his predictions locked down and couldn’t really comprehend anything different, which is kind of fair given how out there the reveal was.

As for the hand, everyone keeps saying it’s Monculus, which while it’s related to Life Formula, people forget that the island skin also has hand structures. I believe it may be Zarroë trying to create more Ethereal Islands for each element, or an Ethereal Gold Island. To be honest, if that’s right, I’ll be mildly disappointed that we aren’t letting go of the Ethereals, but also we haven’t seen the Ethereal Singles or Doubles with new parts in like 10 years, so that’s awesome. It’s a very weird time in MSM history honestly, since there’s no clear “next step” now. Yes, Paironormal Island is likely, but that’s most likely an Anniversary Month thing, once the other three release.

MSM casually dropping 2 new classes and like 5 wubboxes in a year yeah just a few things

10:35 I’m pretty sure that’s a reference to the twelve days of Christmas.
Twelve drummers drumming (the frame surrounding the keys),
Eight maids a-milking, (the keys)
Five golden rings, (the yellow parts on the keys)
Two turtle doves (the monster itself)

@34umr 1 year ago

I wasn't expecting her minor form to actually sing in a minor key That is awesome. I am sooo sososo looking forward to more of these pairanormals.

@3nchantler 1 year ago

19:00 monsterlings still exist in the monster world, they just get skipped over in-game

So when thinking about the Paironormals, we ought to expect some kind of duality when consider what elements they could be in addition to their islands. The puppet to the puppeteer for this one, so what concepts with duality could pop up on fairy, light, and bone while keeping with their island elements?

@Lux-Populi2 1 year ago

I actually think the Quibble costume is based on Twelve Days of Christmas! You can see nods towards twelve drummers drumming, eight maids a-milking, five gold rings, and two turtle doves in the design

@FumeNerd1744S 1 year ago

This update caught me so off guard! I think everyone thought it was the Titansoul, but it ended up being a whole new class!

@Sykotix5539 1 year ago (edited)

Btw, Ethereal Workshop also has new castle upgrade. I didn’t even notice it in the trailer. Also, apparently the Dipsters have a “hatching” screen now, but instead of an egg it’s a door
