Snake Pass is a fast shallow climb, so I put 60mm aero wheels on my hill climb bike as a dress rehearsal for the National Hill Climb Championships. The wheels didn’t let me down. Unfortunately, everything I did before the start line did.
5.3km, 325m of climbing, 150 riders on the start sheet, and a proper lesson in race day prep.
