Paddling Csnadian style in what you call a Canadian. 😂. Love it. 🇨🇦

i once saw a place called 'the Divorce Store'...,higher end used Tandem bikes, canoes and ham radio gear.

Mandatory viewing for anyone considering stepping into a canoe. VERY well done!

Excellent video!

some solid tips

Great information thanks.🇨🇦👍

Excellent video. Well spoken, clear and concise direction. Thank you for the instruction.

Best instructional vid I've seen , found it just before me and the wife filed for divorce! 😁

I love that side maneuver you did to get back to the camera.   My wife and I first started canoeing in florida with aligators in the water with us. Kinda helps the concentration. I just told my wife to paddle either side and ill adjust off her.   Great video.

Great BASIC "principles of canoeing!  Thanks for the inspiration - much appreciated on a rainy January day!  Jilinda Richer

Excellent vid Travis. One of better paddling instruction lessons.

Canoe guru if I ever saw one.

This is what i needed to explain to my friends how to paddle 😂🙏🙏

Great video! That was really helpful.

Took me way too long to find this!

Excellent.

I spent five seasons at two different canoe tripping camps on Lake Temagami up in northern Ontario and was a staffman running my own trip section at the second camp where I worked, or the oldest camp on the lake known as Keewaydin which was founded in 1892. The first camp I attended mostly as a camper was known as Northwoods and was owned by the Cleveland YMCA and was shut down in 1974. The difficulty in training adults is that the sternman is the captain of the canoe and the bowman must obey his commands if the canoe is to be paddled properly, especially when shooting rapids. It goes without saying that this arrangement is not popular with sensitive females you are attempting to teach to paddle. Then also some men you are trying to teach may resent your Scout Masterish ways as a former paid guide and may resent being told to always paddle on the left side since you as sternman prefer always paddling on the right side. So it is that it should come as no surprise that I currently do not have a bowman and always paddle my 17’ Wenonah kevlar ultralight yellow Spirit II alone in the bow seat facing backwards for best weight distribution. And paddling solo I cannot venture out on Lake Erie unless it’s dead calm owing to not having the front of the canoe properly ballasted.

Very good thanks. 👍🇨🇦

Super clear instruction. Never heard it explained so well. Thank you for sharing that.
