This time, I actually went sourcing in Divisoria, one of the largest wholesale and retail areas in Metro Manila!

The place I visited this time was “168 Shopping Mall,” a massive shopping mall that represents Divisoria.
168 Mall is so famous locally that people say, “If you go to 168 first, you can find almost anything.” It offers a wide range of products, including apparel, general goods, bags, shoes, souvenirs, and daily necessities, covering both wholesale and retail.

In this video, I take a deep look at 168 Mall, often considered the undisputed king of the Divisoria area, while also showing the actual shopping experience.

Divisoria is a huge wholesale district that can be called the heart of the Philippines’ trading and retail business. It is also a place where you can feel the intense, lively atmosphere of Southeast Asia. Please watch until the end!

This time, I visited a famous mall in the Divisoria area, which is also relatively easy to access from the Malate area of Manila, Philippines.

If you want to shop cheaply in Manila, I personally think this is still one of the strongest places. Compared with famous tourist-oriented malls, many items here can be bought at much lower prices, making it a very interesting place for people interested in sourcing products or shopping.

■168 Shopping Mall
This is a massive shopping mall that represents Divisoria. A wide variety of products can be found here, including apparel, general goods, bags, shoes, daily necessities, and souvenirs. It is a place that can be enjoyed by everyone from first-time shoppers to people visiting for sourcing purposes. According to official information, it has more than 1,500 stores across 7 floors, making it a large commercial facility that supports both wholesale and retail.
Divisoria itself has also been mentioned in older JICA-related materials as a major wholesale center connected with Metro Manila and Central Luzon, so it can be considered one of the major distribution hubs on the Luzon side.

■999 Mall
This is a rival-style mall located very close to 168 Mall. The atmosphere is similar to 168, and it is also strong in categories such as apparel, general goods, bags, and shoes. Personally, I think visiting both 168 and 999 together makes it much easier to understand the atmosphere of Divisoria.
