In this episode, we'll take a stroll through the capital of Portugal. It'll be a short walk through Lisbon, during which I'll briefly recount the history of one of the oldest cities in the world, show you the central squares, and explore Lisbon's main attractions. We'll also reminisce about the terrible earthquake of 1755, which destroyed an entire empire. We'll explore Lisbon's cafes and note their amusing quirks.
I'll also share my experience visiting the city. I'll tell you how to get from Lisbon Airport to the city center and how the Lisbon metro works. We'll see Lisbon's famous trams, including the famous route 28 (Tram No. 28).
We'll talk about the outskirts of Lisbon, the Rocca Cape (the westernmost point of Europe), as well as the amazing city of Sintra, the Castle of the Moors, and the Pena Palace.
We'll enjoy the evening city and head to the main square, where we'll finish our Portuguese stroll. Enjoy!
