Imagine not affording rent and when the cops kick you out, they take everything of value...

This is just another example of why it shouldn’t be possible for cops to turn off / mute their cams while on duty in the first place.

A misdemeanor for looting a citizen's house while in a position of trust?  Absolutely sickening that they got off so lightly.

It’s hard to believe this went unnoticed for 10 months until the owner filed a complaint because of missing items. Almost like they were being protected.

If this is caught on camera, imagine what goes on that isn’t caught

Interesting how an armed robbery can pass for a misdemeanor when criminals with badges do it.

Corruption by a public official should be the highest degree of felony. It undermines the very basis of our form of government.

Her lying and pretending she didn't do it while the video is sitting right in front of her is insane.

Imagine apologizing to the cops who are stealing from you, because you think you might be in their way as they evict you. Poor kids had no idea of how badly they were actually being violated.

I don't understand how breaking laws while on duty as a cop isn't an automatic felony that just insane

This was straight up armed robbery. All 3 should have been sentenced to prison. The third officer getting off when he clearly tried to verify her cam was off and transported stolen goods should have been charged.

Cops should never be able to mute or turn off their bodycams. I would wonder how many homes they have stolen from.

Just imagine how many bodycams are turned off.

They should be held to higher standards so they all should have got 5 years  jail time at the minimum. Not just a slap on the wrist. This is sickening for someone in that position to do.

I love the way she stands there passing judgment on the homeowners use of drugs, while stuffing their possessions in her shirt.

If these were regular citizens the punishments would have been way more severe

The worst thing is YOU KNOW this is not the first time they've done this.

The penalties for this should be extremely harsh for this type of abuse of power.  Absolutely disgusting.

They should’ve all gotten jail time!!!! To find derrick not guilty is BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!!! He was an accessory and obviously was involved and knew what the other two were doing. Disgusting.

they really can’t help themselves…
