Im a bus driver and an enthusiast and love seeing fellow enthusiasts out and about taking images. Wonder if he would be as mouthy with a cheeky youth or adolescent or if hes only brave around senior citizens.

My partner is an ex bus driver and is an enthusiast himself. However, some ‘spinners’ as they used to be known in the trade had a habit of standing in the middle of a roundabout then leaping in front of his bus to get a full frontal shot. Happened at Lakeside Shopping Centre regularly.

When I was a kid you never saw buses in that state. Maybe on a really filthy day but they got cleaned regularly.

What was that all about? As a bus driver, i would occasionally be driving something that may have been of interest to chaps like yourself. I was happy to sit for a minute or so to allow you the opportunity to get some decent pictures.  I'm sorry someone felt the need to be so rude to you.
