Look up Plasma Kinetics. They store hydrogen on film, similar to old audio tapes. They were under a restriction by the us military as the tech was disruptive to energy industry. One way to produce is using solar for hydrolysis from water.

Hydrogen, CNG, Ammonia: Have to pay $s for it . Hydrogen & CNG will punch a massive hole in the ozone layer.
Better off will Diesel Electric Hybrid with a big battery bank parallel system.

What's with the Japanese and hydrogen?  Its an awful fuel by all practical mesures.  It doesn't occur naturally, so you normally need to take methane and strips out the carbon attom.  This takes energy to reduce the fules energy, its a double loss.  Hydrogen is also insanely reactive and explosive.  On top of that ot the smalles possible attom so its very good at defeating seals and leaking out.  

This leaves you with a very exposive, dangerous, and low energy fuel.

If you want to be green, just burn the methane.  Its more energy efficient and dense, it burns clean, its easier to contain, and it's less expensive.

What international emission standards like IMO and EPA pleasurecraft and commercial applications does the 6LF  meet ?
