The casting for Toph is the most perfect on the show

S2 nailed it with humour: it's not jokes for jokes sake, it's various kinds of humour. It's nothing you have to overthink, but still very amusing. In cinema, delivery and cinematography and timing is what makes humour work more than the complexity of the jokes, and S2 absolutely nails it.

The Avatar creators stated that Toph can feel the earth when rocks are not connected to the ground.

"now you have to see BEYOND what you can see, whatever is infront of your eyes is a huge distraction"

That is a life bar

For all its faults, I enjoy Toph messing with Sokka on occasion with her bending. That's pretty on point for her character at least.

I don't like how they're making Earth about the life inside it. The whole point is that you're wrestling with unmovable immutable matter and succeeding. That's why Earthbenders need a huge amount of willpower and stubbornness.
