Arranged Marriages are still the most prominent form of marriages in India, though love marriages are steadily becoming popular too.

The thing about only desi reviews where you feel it's too much about sex is because indian movies often don't talk about it. Even when it's clearly in the undertone it's never mentioned. Two people could be deep in love but never shown even one bit of physical intimacy. His humor is a way of highlighting that layer lol

Yes we feel weird watching Devdas story in today's time but we also shouldn't forget that the original DEVDAS novel was written in the early 20th century and it actually somewhat mirrored the standing of women in society and societal issues of that time like how girls are married upon reaching age of 14-15 years and how female infanticide and discrimination against girl child in the family was there and also how physical abuse of women by their husband was common and wasn't even considered a crime.

The only context behind most Bollywood songs is that it's Bollywood

19-21 is NOT A GOOD AGE TO MARRY, esp if its an arrange marriage! Arrange marriages arent like VIVAH in real life. 19-21 are barely adults and are yet to enjoy and explore their lives.Personalities change a lot between 20 to 25. You get more decisive as you age. Love marriage(i dont agree with marriage at 19 in any case) but its diff. That means you have known the prson and made a decision urself. At 19,you are still studying, living ur life, making ur carrer. Its crazy to say that a committment should be made at 19-21. NO. Live ur damn life.Marriage can wait till ur frontal lobe is ready to make big decisions.

Yes , only desi is wild and true ! Most brutal yet the realest roast/review bollywood could ever get!!lol!😂

Arranged marriages are still so common because most families believe that you have to marry within your caste. Young people do have relationships in highschool and colleges but if they are not from the same cast, there are high chances they will break up and marry someone form their own caste. Not saying that inter-caste marriage doesn't happen but not very common (though more seen in big cities) and, inter-religion marriages are rare. If you want to get married to someone from other religion, you'll have to go through long official documentations and procedures.

We are watching songs in movies since childhood so they don't bother us much and kinda identity of Bollywood.. I only find out on internet that foreign audience don't like it much 😂

Songs are integral part of Indian cinema and no matter what anyone say I love it. It's unique and identity of bollywood.

7:36 no message, the movie was loosely based on a real live scenario in 90s kolkata,India. The novel was a bengali language one "Na hanyate" by maitreyi devi and also draws inspiration from gujrati play " shetal ne kathe".

Watch only desi reaction for 1920  it's a blast 😂

16:04  in the actual book both female protagonist don't meet . Also it was autobiographical also.

Ohh guys this channel is very nice  but don't take what he is saying very seriously...his whole channel is about making fun of movies....😂 and it's funny ofcourse but yeah he doesn't literally make movie reviews....

His revisits are so funny. You should do it more

it is just time difference of 90s, 2000s to today's time, that time arrange marriage works , but we can't do marriage knowing each other before marriage in today's time
